This is Eta Carinae, also known as NGC 3372. This nebula is part of the Southern sky: one of its breath taking views.

This picture was taken by Jane Cutler. She used a Celestron C8 Deluxe telescope; which has a focal ratio of 6, also a 60 mm refractor to guide on. A CCD camera was used, and it was the MXC5. The image is composed of 7 1 minute images, which were put together with MXC5 software.
