British Foot Artillery

The British artillery was divided into three classes: foot, horse, and rocket.  There are few sets of the British artillery, but those sets are quite good. 

This set from Revell is very nice.  Like the British Line, the detail on the figures is not good, but the variety and quality of poses more than compensates.  I use four figures per gun, drawing extra guns from the Esci horse artillery set.
 

There are two sets of horse artillery.  One is by Esci and one by Airfix.  The Esci set has great sculpting, but the uniforms are not quite right.  The Airfix set is perfectly correct, and the seven different poses make this set a keeper.

The British experimented with rockets during the Napoleonic Wars, fielding several troops of rocket artillery.  HaT Industries has released a set of rocket troops that are the best moulded  British artillery of any range.
