Dear Constituent:

My focus as your representative has been:

  •         Better funding for education
  •         Good paying jobs
  •         Access to affordable health care
  •         Balance and openness in the legislature
  •         Property tax relief
  • I want to use my experience and knowledge to continue these efforts on your behalf.

The next session will be a critical one. The same issues will be at the forefront, and the budget will be a major concern, as lawmakers wrestle with how to allocate scarce state funds.  It is important to have a strong voice representing your interests in this debate.

With thirty years of teaching government in Coeur d’Alene, plus my experience these past two sessions, I am well qualified to work on issues of importance to us all.  Good schools and jobs, affordable health care, responsive government, and a healthy environment are what make living here desirable and will offer our children opportunity to stay.   Promoting these things has been, and will continue to be, my top priority.

I have seen first hand that Idaho’s one-party rule undermines democracy.  In spite of this, I have worked successfully with the majority party to pass legislation. With your help, I will continue to be a strong advocate for making decisions based on the interests of all citizens in our state.

    My Committee assignments are:

  •         Education
  •         Resources and Conservation
  •         Environmental Affairs
  • Serving on these committees has given me the ability to promote and protect our schools and environment.

Representing you has been both an honor and a privilege.  I have worked hard to serve you and to ensure the needs and concerns of Coeur d’Alene are heard in Boise.

On this web site you can find a summary of my qualifications and record on a few key issues.  My e-mail address is also provided.  I can best serve our community when I hear directly from you.

I would appreciate your support and your vote on November 2.   Thank you.

George Sayler, State Representative, Democrat, District 4B
