There are four different sets portraying
the German army of the Great War. Airfix's set, reissued by HaT Industries,
depicts the early-war Germans in their distinctive picklehaub helmet.
Revell and Emhar each have a set of late-war Germans in coal-scuttle helmet.
Emhar has an additional set of German artillery which has some infantry
poses in it as well.

These are from Revell's set.
The figures are beautifully sculpted and well posed for either a diorama
or wargaming. The machinegun set is very well done indeed!

The Emhar set is completely historically correct, but the figures are not nearly as well done as the Revell Germans. Still, it provides many new poses for dioramas and fills a needed role in the limited range of WWI figures.
