The U.S. Army was the best equipped of the World War II combatants, and had a good fighting record.
Esci, Matchbox, and Revell have produced sets suitable for the U.S. Army in World War II.

The Revell set depicts American infantry in the E.T.O., probably from the fighting in the winter of '44-'45. Figures are robust, and raised detail on equipment is very good.

The Esci set has good, crispt sculpting. The figures are suitable for North Africa, Italy, Normandy, and the Pacific Theatre. The crew served weapons are well done.

The Matchbox
set is much smaller than the others, and has a toy-like look.
