OK, so what's this about? In short, you're required to come up with a killer idea for MM8. Name one single thing that you think Might and Magic VII really needs. Whether your idea amounts to a tweaking of the gameplay or introduces totally new features are of course up to you. Use your imagination, go play MM7 again, and ask yourself: "What would make this great game even better?".
What's the 1st prize?A PC game of the winners choice, ordered from one of the big online game retailers by us, delivered on the winner's doorstep (or postoffice, depending on how your mailman treats you). We would of course suggest a preorder of MM8, but it's entirely up to the winner.
Is there a 2nd & 3rd prize? We're not sure if there'll be money enough from Chips & Bits for a 2nd and maybe even a 3rd prize, so you're just gonna have to wait and see about that ; )
How do I enter?Enter the contest by submitting your suggestion in an e-mail to mightandmagicvii@yahoo.com. We must have your submission before November 1st, 1999.
Who can enter?Everybody! Except for T.E.L.P.'s own members, of course. And please - limit yourself to one entry per person.
When will the winner be announced - and how? We'll try and pick a winner shortly after the closing date. If we're lucky, we'll get one of the greenies to help us. If not, we have to be the judges ourselves. Give us a week, two at the most. The winner will recieve an e-mail from us, and will of course be announced on our front page.
Legal stuff - just so there's no misunderstandings:We must remind you that neither the Free Erathia! website or we, the people behind it, are in any way related to 3DO or New World Computing. This means that these companies cannot be held responsible for any activity on this site, including this contest. If you have a problem with us, please don't bug them. Thanks.
Free Erathia should not be held responsible for...anything, really. We offer this as gamers and Internet users to others like us. If you don't trust that we'll deliver the prize, just don't participate. We can't make any 100% guarantees; if one of us gets run over by a bus, and he was holding the check, the contest is off. Just like that. Now you know ; )
What this boils down to is that we ask you to please remember that we're not exactly rich, so there's no need to sue us no matter what. Please. We're just ordinary gamers trying to be nice, and give something back to the community. Really.
