Remember, if you are experiencing technical problems, you should always consult 3DO's support page. These tips are merely given as an addition to 3DO's official help, on a user-to-user basis. The most common problems are listed below: Installation problems If the installation crashes your machine, there's help to be found on p. 60 of the manual. If you have a newer, fast CD-ROM drive, you will most likely be able to solve the problem by disabling the drive's "read-ahead". Details in the manual. Mouse problems Many have experienced erratic mouse movement, and it seems to come down to one of two things: Either you have installed a non-generic mouse driver (such as Logitech or Intellimouse). By switching back to the default Windows driver you might be able to get rid of the problem. Or it can be graphics-related, meaning that you might work around it by to switching from Hardware- to Software-acceleration or vice versa. A patch is alledgedly in the works which hopefully will adress these problems. The advice given on this page are to be considered "user-to-user", meaning that T.E.L.P. are not to be held responsible or liable in any way for its accuracy or for any damages to your system, should you choose to follow our advice.
