Hello!! I am Mudassir Ahmad. I was born in Calcutta (Kolkata) in 1979 but never got a chance to live in a city which was home to famous personalities like Rabindranath Tagore, Mother Teresa, Satyajit Ray and many more.I spent the first three years of my life in Malaysia.But, as we shifted to the middle-east, I started my schooling in a school run by the Indian Embassy.After the Primary studies in middle-east, I moved to Mayo College, Ajmer.The mighty campus of this lively school which was built in 1875 by Lord Richard Southwell Bourke(The then General Viceroy of India and Earl of Mayo)is situated near the holy city of Ajmer.The main aim of Lord Richard Southwell Bourke was to educate the Princes the Rajasthan, and for this very reason he setup a school.After independence Mayo became a Residential Public School and is affliated to the CBSE board.Still today, the school boasts of being a royal one as the traditions and values that are taught in Mayo are very traditional and personality development is very much English and perhaps for this reason it is also called the"Eton of the East".
My stay at Mayo was the best part of my student life. The routine was hectic yet refreshing. The motto of the school was 'Let there be light' and we tried hard to achieve -- 'education is the manifestation of perfection already in man'. Keeping in mind 'stop not till the goal is reached' I graduated from this high school in 1997 (10+2).
After completing my schooling I came to Delhi at University of Delhi and joined the undergraduate program.My major was Geography and I completed undergraduation in July 2000.I have also completed a computing course and a website designing and management course of 6 months duration each from Indira Gandhi National Open University(IGNOU), New Delhi. IGNOU is a pioneer in distance education and its objective is to teach its students the art of learning on your own and getting the very best of it.Its education system is flexible and for that reason makes it one of the most reputed Universities of India in such a short span(Estd-1985). I went to study masters degree in international business from University of Wollongong, Australia. Really loved the place and enjoyed every bit of my stay in Sydney and the gong.
Regarding my interests, hobbies etc. it's tough time. I like SCUBA diving as well as trekking/hiking. Astonishingly
two diametrically opposite things, at one point of time I like to explore
the abyss sometimes I try to reach the azure skies over the mountains.
I'm also fond of cross country . Anything related to adventure
fascinates me. Traveling is always a great pleasure for me.
