Did you ever hear about the garden
gnome that was stolen from someone's front garden one day? It was a big
mystery, especially when the gnome started to send postcards to the family
from all over the world. And then, about a year later, their gnome came
home. There he was, sitting in the garden just where he used to be, but
with a nice tan and wearing a loud hawaiian shirt! |
I always thought it was a cute idea, but I
didn't think that Gnome-napping would be condoned by my church...

But now, here's a way to do use this
idea for niceness instead of evil, with a 21st century version of 'message
in a bottle' as well! You take your own version of the gnome, and post
it to a contact in another country. They send you a card, and post it on
to a contact of their own in a third country.. and so on. The exciting
thing is, you don't know where it will all end! |
