Recruiting!!I have 3 recruits at the momment - actually got 2 in one week.
The first one was my sister so that was really easy - I just basically told
her to join!
The second was thinking about it for a while and then she was at another
party I did so I just said
'come on, you have been thinking about this for a while why not give it a
go you can always quit
if it's not for you' and she joined that day.
Number three called me.
I may have found number four this week - another lady who just asked me if I
would
like an Independent Agent in her area - of course I said I would love one!
One more recruit and if I reach my sales goal for the year - I'm off to Hong
Kong in the year 2000!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a TUPPERWARE manager who will be car qualified by the end of the month if all goes well. I would never have gotten this far without recruiting though. I treat my parties like my office and do EVERYTHING while at them. I date, recruit, train, and MAKE MONEY!!!!! This is the key, I feel, to our business. If you make it seem like you can do it all in 2-3 hours then more people will want to sign up because it won't seem as time consuming. If you love what you do it shows and people will sign up at the
party or give referrals of friends and family looking to do something from
home. It's just that simple. YOU GOTTA WANNA as Jenny B. would say. If you
don't know who
Jenny B. is e-mail me and I'll let you know how to increase your business!!!
Other ideas The 1st recruit was a hostess who had a $1000 party, I told her that she would be a wonderful rep and took her to one of our unit meetings to see how she would go, on the way there I talked to her all about what the benefits were etc and by the time the meeting was finished she was ready to sign up! The 2nd and 3rd recruit approached me and so was easy LOL The 4th recruit I got from a referral, what I did was tell all the guests at my parties that if they know of someone who might be interested in joining UndercoverWear to give me there name and phone number, if they decide to join me I will give them a free garment for recommending them! It worked for this one and hopefully it will in the future too :)
Begin your recruiting interview by telling your potential recruit: The secret is to tell your prospect these four things BEFORE you make your sales or recruiting presentation.
Example You have told Kathy that most/many people you interview join the company. Kathy does not want to be the first one to try it; her natural tendency is to want to join the majority. You told Kathy the total cost of your opportunity. Instead of worrying throughout your presentation about what the price is and when it will be revealed, her mind is now clear to listen to your opportunity benefits. You build trust and confidence in Kathy by telling her the entire cost in the beginning. She looks upon you as an honest businesswoman, not as a salesman that holds back information and tries to trick her. Even if the price is high, she will want to hear about the opportunity to see why it is so good to command such a price. This technique gives you a more unbiased, low-pressure, "I don’t care" approach versus the high-pressure, "You have to sign up" approach. Kathy's defenses will go down when she sees that you are not desperate for a recruit. By giving Kathy "reasons" not to join, you have taken the pressure off. She doesn't have to fight you on why she should not join, because she knows you'll accept those reasons. By removing this fear, she can now listen and concentrate on the features and benefits of your opportunity. If you plan properly, the "reasons" not to buy really move Kathy to join. In the above two examples, we told her, "Everyone buys unless she doesn't understand or doesn't have the money." This also helps you isolate objections at the end of your presentation. Kathy either needs more information or she just doesn't have the money. (In which case you either answer her questions or offer her a payment plan and then ask again, "What do you think?") By telling Kathy that it's okay if she joins or not, you again are relieving the pressure she naturally places on herself. However, by her agreeing to "Fair enough?" she is committing herself to a decision NOW. This helps prevent the "I'll think it over" objection.
HAPPY RECRUITING!
