As soon as I saw these new scouts from Citadel I knew that I was going to paint some. This is my first one. He was a lot of fun to paint and I'm very satisfied with how he turned out.

I like the marine scouts so much that I've considering painting an all scout Space Marine army for 40K. But why should I waste my time with 40K 3rd edition, a game where you can't create your own race/army? I'll probably paint them up and create a custom force list using Vor.

One thing that I like about these scouts is that in addition to looking great in their own right; they have a some what generic look. If you were going to paint up some miniatures to represent Colonial Marines from the movie Aliens these scouts are your best bet. (Yes, I know they did make actual minis for Aliens, but they weren't 30mm!) I like the image of soldiers in futuristic military issue green body armor. That's pretty much the effect that I wanted with this miniature.
