Ash he is the main character the show revolves around him and his friends adventures though he doesn't know it he is a very good pokémon trainer. He has 5 pokémon Pikachu, squirtle, charizard, pidgeotto,bulbasaur, crabby he used to have a butterfree but he set it free.
Misty she is one of ashs friends she and ash are constanly arguing Misty claims the only reason she is following ash is so he can get her a new bike to replace the old one that ash broke. Misty has 5 pokémon staryu, starme,horsee,goldeen, and togapi
Brock: was the former leader of the pewter city gym then his long lost father returned and brock left with ash and misty. Brock wants to be the worlds greatest pokemon trainer and has 4 pokémon geodude onix zubat and vulpix.
The Bad Guys:
Jessie she is part of team rocket but all her plans go wrong the only reason she stays in team rocker is because she is so evil she has a kind of love hate relationship with her partner james she has one pokémon arbuk which was given to her for her birthday.
James james is the second member of team rocket but not as bad as jessie his plans might work if he didn't have as stupid of partners as he does if james ever put effort into it he could be a good pokémon trainer james is also a member of the upper class but ran away from home when his parents made him marry jessiebell who is worse than jessie. James has 2 pokemon weezing and a growlith he calls growly who he left at home to take care of his parents. growly is a well trained pokemon and could take on any of ash misty or brocks pokémon and win with ease.
Meowith. his cruelty is only topped by jessies an he come up with most of there plans which only fail cause of his lack of forsite and he tends to rush into things meowith is the only pokémon who can speak english.
