By Abinated Album: THE WILSONS
Rate: More than four stars!!!!

The Wilsons album is a collection of great songs filled full of
power and enthusiasm. It's a soft alternative one, and it has been one
of my favorites. Other favorites? Of course they are WILSON PHILLIPS,
SHADOWS AND LIGHT, and HEY! SANTA.

Carnie and Wendy have given their best in making this album
worthwhile, and I could see that they have put much, much more effort
in the album than previous ones. The result is, of course, definitely a
must to get one!!!!!!

Wendy has improved a lot vocally while Carnie's unexplainable
harmony is still above everthing. With the combination of their
greatness contribution, the album is more than being perfect.

The first track and the first single "MONDAY WITHOUT YOU" proves to
be very catchy because of the rhythm. It's very singable and
enthusiastic although the lyrics are actually depressing. Brian Wilson,
a guest on the album, has contributed with such great harmony (No
wonder the WILSONS are really harmonious), and he deserves to be
praised more than ever.

"GOOD ABOUT YOU" is another catchy song, and it can be a danceable
one. It's very Hanson-ish (Well, Stephen Lironi, is also a producer of
HANSON) This one could be released as the second single

. "MIRACLE" is a powerful ballad one. Wendy's voice is really
hypnotizing, and the harmony sounds perfectly right. It sounds like
Wilson Phillips. Are we expecting a miracle? Yes, hopefully there will
really be another new WILSON PHILLIPS album, but in the meantime, let
us all enjoy THE WILSONS album.

"GODDESS REVIVAL" sounds like Alanis especially with "Yah! Yah!
Yah!" and "Goddess Revival" at the last part. Is it good? Well, it's a
lot better than Alanis.

"CANDY" is a very controversial song about drugs. This one is very
realistic, and it's a scary song but worth listening to it.

"'TIL I DIE" is simply a classic song, and it's great.

"ST. JOAN" proves to be a unique one because the sound is very
unpredictable.

"OPEN DOOR" - With Carnie's powerful voice, this song is complete.

"I HATE YOUR FACE" is a very down-to-earth song, and it sounds like
"FUELED FOR HOUSTON" by Wilson Phillips. Very alternative and the
blending of their voices is simply great.

"EVERYTHING" is filled with sweet sounds, and it's a very cute one.

"NOT YOUR AVERAGE GIRL" is very convincing because of the harmony.
This song probably has the best harmony among the tracks. With the
harmony, your heart can be touched emotionally and involuntarily.

"EVERYTHING I NEED" - At last a very soothing song to
listen...makes you cry....makes you smile.....makes you want to play
over and over again until the end of time...can be a classic song. With
harmony created by Brian, Carnie, and Wendy, the song is more than
being perfect....immeasurable perfect!!!!!!

All in all, the album is more that what I expected. Whenever I
listen to this album, my heart is always out of its place. It's up in
the sky singing with their perfect harmony. Chynna, it's a must to own
this album.
