Tommy Dawkins is the main character of the show. He was the typical all around high school jock, except he was a nice guy (well, supposably, they never really show him before, he could of been giving nerds wedgies and picking on the dorks with glasses, you never know, but i really couldn't see him doing that). But then at the beginning of his senior year, while on a camping trip with his friends, he got bit by a werewolf. Then for the t.v. series purposes only, he stopped hanging out with his old friends and just started hanging out with Merton (which doesn't bother me in the least, if it was up to me, the entire show would be about Merton).
He's also madly in love with Stacey (I don't know why though, personally, i don't care for her, but everyones got to like someone i guess), which most of the episodes are about. Some monster or something always does something to her, or falls in love with her and Tommy and Merton have to fix it. Him and Stacey aren't actually going out 'cas everytime they almost kiss, or almost do anything he starts turning into a werewolf and has to leave.
His mom is a local t.v. reporter, his dad is the mayor of Pleasantville, and his brother is a couch potatoe (even though he sits on a easy chair) who spends all day and all night watching t.v. and eating.
Now, I know it sounds like I'm not too fond of him, but you have to understand that I only consider him scum compared to Merton. Overall, he is a pretty cool guy, though I do think he could get rid of some of those cheesy fighting lines he uses whenever he beats up a monster.
