In 1999 I was VERY LUCKY to meet DARRYL FOX, TERRY FOX'S BROTHER! I met him a cancer workshop and I even got to play basketball with him! (He's pretty good, but I still won) I also got an AUTOGRAPHED BOOK! Anyway, he was talking about cancer, the progress in finding cures, the effects different treatments have and some other stuff. So I decided to see what KIDS though about cancer, and the stuff that they went through. Childhood cancer is diagnosed to between 1000 and 5000 people per year! The most common childhood cancers are Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) and Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML). Cancer is a topic that not a lot of people think or talk about, but I is still important. Not just because I has so many VICTEMS, but also because THERE IS NO CURE. These are two very special websites that honestly broke my heart. Click below to check them out, and be sure to tell me what you think! This site is owned by a 5-year-old boy and his parents. He was diagnosed with ALL when he was 22-months-old! And when I said that there was no cure, well NO PARENT SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THIS! Get your tissues before going to this page! It is owned by a cancer-victem's parents, in memory of their son. -Just for the fact, the boy who died had the same birthday as Aaron Carter, but was born in 1989, and died in 1998.

Please help Michael Cuccione. He is the 16-year-old "QT" from 2gether. When he was 9, he was diagnosed with Hodgkins disease. He was in remission for 6 months, then his cancer returned. Determined to make a difference, he founded the "Michael Cuccione Cancer Fund". The fund has an annual fundraiser every November to donate money to his local hospital. Michael wrote a book, with the help from his grandmother, Jane McSporren, called "There Are Survivors." He has also released a CD called "Making A Difference." Please support him by buying these.
