Namida Author's Notes and Prologue
Title: Namida, prequel to "In the Light of the Stars." Author: Persephone Rating: PG-13/TV-MA Pairing: Legolas + Frodo (some crushage, at least.) Warnings: Angst, hobbit crushage, pretty elfage. ^_- Author's Notes: This is the prequel to "In the Light of the Stars." In comparison to my last two offerings, this one may seem rather tame although it does establish some of the relationship borne out in the sequel. You need not have read "In the Light of the Stars" to understand that and vice versa. I do use one of Tolkien's lines from the first book in this story -- it was a line of Legolas' that should have been used during the Council scene but wasn't. So I took it upon myself to insert it in an appropriate (or so I thought) place. As always, I have to thank my evil betas for both the encouragement and trying to keep me in line. Amet -- Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank God I have you to keep me on my toes. ^_- Timeline: Rivendell, just after Frodo's meeting with Bilbo after the Council.
