Prologue:
Heero Yuy glanced at the stars, marveling at their bright intensity from faraway. He sat down on a patch of grass over looking a cliff. Exhaling, he saw a puff of his breath rise up into the cold winter night air. Everything was perfect, everything except for him. Dr. J wanted me to become a perfect soldier, but I couldn't. I had almost achieved it, but part of me wanted to quit, remember what had happen to a mission I undertook that ended in disaster, he thought as he pulled his knees towards his chest hugging himself for warmth. He glanced off into the distance, not really seeing, thinking of the fragments of memories he had behind a barrier in the corner of his mind…

Chapter 1- Training Begins…
I stood stoically as Dr. J paced around me, silent and brooding. He sometimes scared me, but I had gotten used to that.
"You know, I received orders from Dekim Barton to re-train you," I heard him say quietly as I kept my gaze on the ground. Inwardly, I winced at his slightly harsh words.
"It's about the training mission, right?" I asked, mustering all the strength I could before I could let the tears that were in my eyes fall.
"You were not supposed to have contact with anybody! Young boy, look at me!" Dr. J's words cut through my hearing and I snapped my head up, holding his gaze. He faced me and I saw massive disappointment etched all over his face. "You are to be re-trained, no more emotions for you. You will become the "perfect soldier" for Operation Meteor," he said and waved me away.
I walked as quickly as I could, out of that room, and when the door shut behind me I burst into a run. I had nowhere to go no family, no home. My only home was with Dr. J on Colony 01. My mentor, whom I considered a father, Odin, was dead. He died two years ago on a faulty mission. I knew that I was ten years old and most of the young bartenders who worked at the base on Colony 01, said that I was growing into a handsome young man, surely to be a whatever they called "a ladies man". I ran towards my bunkroom, the only solitary place I had and slammed the door behind me.
"Why does Dr. J have to re-train me?" I whispered to myself as I sat on my bed, staring out into the endless blanket of stars that dotted space. Soon, I felt drowsy and collapsed onto my bed.

He looked deep into the eyes of a blond-brown haired young lady, around his age, wearing a pretty royal blue dress adorned with a single pearl necklace. Her eyes held an amount of fear and he realized that he was holding a handgun pointed at her chest, his finger on the trigger ready to end her life…
I woke up suddenly; dumping my blanket and pillow to the floor as I realized it was morning. The remnants of the dream sparkled and sizzled away as I shook my head to clear it. I bent down and picked up my tossed blanket and pillow and arranged them neatly on my bed. Grabbing tight-fitting black pants and a dark green sleeveless shirt I headed into my personal refresher station. Quickly I took a shower and put on my clothes, running a hand through my messy brown hair I glanced at myself in the mirror. In the mirror I saw a projection of someone who looked like me, but slightly older, then it faded away.
I stepped out and there was a beeping coming from my door. Hesitantly I opened it and saw Dr. J, his three-fingered cyborg hand clicking together, making a small tapping noise. "Time for your training, young boy," I heard him say and I clenched my teeth in anger.
"Fine," I replied curtly, and followed him down long passages and corridors of the base. He led me into a giant room where there was a single egg-shaped chair in the middle of the room.
"Sit in there young boy," Dr. J instructed and I obeyed him, plopping myself in the seat. Suddenly everything around the egg became dark and I found myself in a mobile suit, it's joystick and controls all lit up.
"What the hell is going on?" I asked, but Dr. J did not answer me. I grabbed the joysticks and suddenly felt at home. A voice in my mind said that this was my destiny and my future.
"Young boy, your training will begin," Dr. J's fateful words drilled into my head and I suddenly became excited as I began to visualize myself in a mobile suit battle, what I always wanted.

Chapter 2- Codenamed: Heero Yuy
Dr. J was afraid of me right now, because I am cold, callous and very unpredictable when battling. He was successful in breaking me to become what Dekim Barton called the "perfect soldier". I didn't care if I was a tool to be used in an operation called Operation Meteor; I just wanted to kill my enemies, the ones who were threatening my life.
"Operation Meteor will consist of the Gundams headed towards Earth. There you will fight against OZ and Romefeller. They are the tyrants who want to destroy us. We should decide on a codename for you boy…how about Heero Yuy?" Dr. J asked me as I was fiddling with the insides of my Gundam, Wing.
I shrugged and said nonchalantly, "I don't care."
"Good…Heero Yuy was the original leader of all the Colonies. You will take up his name in the Colonies' honor. We'll launch tomorrow, April 7," Dr. J said. I really didn't care much for histories, but the space Colonies and their leaders were what really had me interested.
"Isn't that the day Yuy was assassinated around fifteen years ago?" I asked, even though I already knew the answer.
"Yes, you're pretty sharp my boy. Good, it's settled then, Godspeed with you Heero, you will succeed," Dr. J said and I heard his footsteps echo away.
I glanced once to where he stood before then back at my work. The dream with the young blonde-brown haired lady was vivid. All the dreams I have had either faded from my memory or had just forgotten. I just wished if I met her, I would kill her immediately. Yet, somehow, some part of me that I had not quelled down said that I couldn't kill her. Well, my conflicting mind, we'll see who's stronger, I added a mental note to myself as I shut the hatch to some of the wiring of Wing and jumped down. The comfortable weight of my handgun reminded me that I need some bullets in the gun before I left for earth. April 7th, the day I would begin a long war with OZ and Romefeller.

Epilogue:
Heero smiled faintly at the memory. Dr. J wasn't successful; he was only partially successful. Suddenly there was a whispering of grass and a pair of slender hands rested on his shoulders. He instinctively shied away and knew that it was Relena, the girl with the blonde-brown hair in his dreams.
"What are you doing out here Heero? It's late, Duo's been ranting about how he needs you to help him fix his Deathscythe Hell," Relena's soft voice whispered into his ear.
"Just thinking," Heero mumbled trying to get himself out of Relena's embrace. He liked her, but he didn't really wanted to get close to her. He still had that exterior Dr. J trained into him, and didn't like to reveal his feelings.
"Heero's what's wrong?" Relena asked, her voice concerned for him as she took a seat next to him. He turned away, his gaze back on the stars and Relena glanced down at her outfit, which was the former Sank Kingdom's outfit. "Heero," she started hesitantly, "I never got to thank you for saving me from the explosion at the Alliance's headquarters."
Heero didn't answer, as he looked deep into her sky blue eyes, feeling a swirl of emotion run through him. He didn't care whether or not he was the perfect soldier, he liked, no loved her. Before his mind registered what was happening he was kissing her with passion. When he parted, he was surprised at his action and looked at Relena who was equally surprised.
"Heero…" Relena whispered then kissed him again. Heero's mind was a swirl of confusion, happiness and just plain "what the heck is going on" type of thought.
Suddenly there was a flash and the whirling sound of a picture being taken and Relena and Heero jumped a part. Heero glanced to his left and saw Duo grinning idiotically as he ran towards the London Base's small hanger bay.
"Duo! You're dead!" Heero shouted as he got up and ran after the longhaired American.
Relena just smiled at the antics the two pilots where having…
