After my husband and I pay the gas bill and the rent this week, there will be zero left for about 13 days, nothing for food or anything else. My neice who knew NOTHING about any of this called and said she was coming to spend the night AND she stopped at the store and called again and asked if there was anything I needed. I told her I didn't have any money and she said not a problem. I told a few things I/we needed and she bought them and more. Keep in mind she knew nothing about the money problem, she came in with the food and a birthday card for me with $60.00 in it. PRAISE THE LORD!! He is sooooo faithful and HE always provides. God answered the same day. praise God.They could of said no easily because of funds. but God knows all things. I applied for a job about two months ago at a company I always wanted to work for. For the past two months the Human Resource Department kept on losing my resume and application and has been givin me a run around. I kept on praying and praying that I will get this job and that the Human Resource department will stop giving me a run around. Yesterday the Lord gave me an idea to contact the manager of the department I want to work in. I contacted her by e-mail and about two hours later I got a response. She told me that as soon as there is a position open she will consider me for the position. At least I am half-way there, at least she knows that I am interested in the job. I pray that an opportunity comes up soon and that she gives me the job. I praise the Lord because before I had missed so many oppotunities and now I hope that I can take advantage of one. Praise the Lord for that person recognizing my need. PRAISE HIS NAME ON HIGH...I am so happy happy happy....they dr.'s nurse called today to say the dr. was puzzzled GOD IS SO GOOD that my mom's blood work came back NORMAL ain't HE GOOD and that the dr. was notsure if her para thyroid was abnormal so he wanted to recheck the blood work in two months I know it will be normal then too...we are so happy and thankful to GOD....thank you all who prayed!!! Praise God! My grandmother is home! And she is fine! She has 2 staples in her head and NO other bruises or breaks - just a little sore! The doctors did a CATscan and found NOTHING but a light concussion! What a miracle! Last night her blood pressure was 221/120, and she has lost massive amounts of blood - the paramedics were very concerned of a stroke - Jesus is the ultimate healer and HE did it AGAIN!!!! My Grandmother just called, she told us Aunt Lou had a Dr's. appt.yesterday, the Dr. told Aunt Lou, and Uncle Larry, that she was CANCER FREE!!!!!! I PRAISE GOD AND GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY!!!!!! My family and I want to thank each of you that's continued to pray for Aunt Lou. We know it was because of the prayers, that God heard all your cries, and heald her. The Dr. did tell her it's take about 2 months for her throat to get back to normal, and she should be able to eat solid food again. One day, a telephone repairman unexpectedly appeared at their door to fix their phone. Not only did God, in His providence,send a long-overdue repairman at just the right time, but the missionary family had no idea where the young woman even got their phone number.Glorify God for reigning as Lord over everything -- even telephone companies. Ask Him to bring glory to His name among the lost multitude of Haiti. My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I write to you with good news regarding the prayer request for 11 year old Leah, who was abducted after getting off her school bus in Texas. Texas police, who were notified about a suspicious white car along with its license plate, spotted the car and pulled the driver over. When the car stopped, Leah jumped out and into the hands of the police. Thank you Father!! He was the same man police had been looking for because he had abducted two other young girls previously to this incident. In both those cases, he had held them captive - one for a week, another for 11 days before releasing them. Thankfully, Leah had only been with him for two days. The police though were not able to arrest him, for after being caught, he killed himself. I don't know how Leah is doing. I do know that she was taken to a hospital for observation and examination. I understand this report has been aired on CNN today, so you might be able to hear more about this. My friend's family sends their gratitude for all the prayers that went up on behalf of this child and her family. Continue to pray for Leah and her family for they do not know the Lord.
