Curriculum:
The REAL curriculum focuses on : critical thinking, creativity,
persuasive communication, research and using technology
effectively. Teachers receive the tools and training they need to
adapt REAL to their community's particular needs.
Elementary: MiniREAL equips teachers to help children
create an in-school community with an entrepreneurial sector, a court
system, banking, and a functioning government sector.
Middle: Middle REAL helps students learn the real value
of money, creates entrepreneurial ventures, and undertakes projects that
address community needs.
High school: REAL Entrepreneurship guides students through
the process of planning and creating small businesses of their own
design with the help of a local Community Support Team whose members act
as advisors and mentors.
Post-secondary: REAL's hands-on approach complements
existing degree, certificate, or continuing education programs and
appeals to adult entrepreneurs focused on starting or expanding
businesses.
