Beef Stroganoff
1/2 lb. beef strips 1/2 c. sour cream 1/4 c. water 3 c. beef broth 1 T. worcestershire sauce 1 T. celery salt 1/2 c. chopped onions 1/4 c. oil 1/2 pkg. noodles Salt and pepper to taste In a skillet on medium heat pour oil. Add beef and onion. Mix together sour cream,salt and pepper, worcestershire sauce,celery salt, broth and water. Put noodles over beef and onions. Pour sour cream sauce over noodles. Bring to a boil,cover and simmer 20 minutes or until noodles are tender.
Serves 4-6.
"Cabbage Rolls"
1 large head of cabbage 1 1/4 lb. hamburger 2 t. salt 1 c. rice 1/2 t. pepper 1 large onion 1 egg 1 t. sage 1/2 t. thyme 1/2 t. nutmeg 2 large cans tomato sauce 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. water Gently pull cabbage leaves off cabbage and and place in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain. - Do Not Boil The Leaves. - Mix the meat, salt, pepper, rice, onion, egg, sage, thyme and nutmeg. Stuff into cabbage leaves. Secure with toothpicks. Brown in oil. Place in baking pan. Mix tomato sauce, brown sugar and water together and pour over cabbage rolls. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
