Alvin Emery Sexton was born 2 August 1911 in Wayne County the first child of Sherman Sexton and Myrtle Hammond, he married Litha Jane Carrender daughter of James Carrender and Emily Tuttle on 31 January 1932 in Wayne County. Litha was born 16 August 1911 in Wayne County. They moved from Wayne County to Amherst, Ohio in September 1942. Alvin retired from the American Ship Company. Alvin died December 1989 in Amherst, Ohio, Litha died 3 October 1969 in Amherst, Ohio, both Alvin and Litha are buried in Amherst, Ohio.
