Flora Ann Sexton was born in Wayne County, Ky. on 10 June 1901 the daughter of Hiram Sexton and Alice Gibson. She married James Elmer Garland son of Daniel James Garland and Litha Strunk of Pulaski County, Ky.
They were married on 5 December 1922 in Pulaski County, Ky.
Flora died 17 January 1926 in Pulaski County, James died 26 June 1977 in Cinncinatti, Ohio. Both Flora and James are buried in the Burnside Cemetary Pulaski County, Ky.
