Timothy Sexton Jr was the first born child of Timothy Sexton and Esther Sisel, he was born on 25 December 1783 in the York Dist. of South Carolina. The family Later moved to what is now Scott County Tn. Timothy Jr. married Nancy Ellis on 4 November 1807 in Knox County, Tn. Timothy Jr. died abt 1860 in Scott Co. Tn.

Margarett Sexton born 1815 Campbell County Tn, died abt 1870 Scott County Tn, married Elijah Phillips.
Sarah Sexton born 1825 Morgan County Tn, died 1889 Scott County Tn, married William Griffith
Emanuel Sexton born 1827 morgan County Tn, died bef 1890 Scott County Tn, married 1st Rebecca Griffith, married 2nd Elmira Brown Harness
Martha (patsy) Sexton born 1830 Morgan County Tn, died aft 1900 Scott County Tn, married William Griffith a cousin to her sister Sarah's husband William Griffith on 13 July 1864.
James Sexton born 18 September 1831 Morgan County Tn, died 14 April 1908 Scott County Tn, married Polly Ann Pemberton on 2 October 1862.
