SCAR (1994, The Lion King) ~ Another villain animated by Deja. Scar is Mufasa's weaker brother, and Simba's uncle. He murders Mufasa and repeatedly tries to have Simba murdered. He enlists the questionable aid of the hyenas; Banzai, Shenzi, and Ed. Scar was voiced by Jeremy Irons.
GOVERNOR RADCLIFFE (1995, Pocahontas) ~ Radcliffe's excursion to the Americas was his attempt at fame and (mostly) fortune. His desire for gold surpasses all other concerns, including the well being of his men. In fact, his greed almost starts a war! Both Radcliffe and his servant, Wiggins, were voiced by David Ogden Stiers.
SID (1995,, Toy Story) ~ Sid is Andy's next door neighbor. He enjoys destroying toys and making toy "frankenstein monsters" from the pieces! He holds the distinction of being the first entirely computer-generated Disney Villain! Created by PIXAR.
JUDGE CLAUDE FROLLO (1996, The Hunchback of Notre Dame) ~ Frollo has two motives. First, he has a hatred for Gypsies. This leads him to imprisoning and murdering them. Second, he lusts for Esmerelda. This leads him to burn down much of Paris, murder countless people, and attack Notre Dame! He is easily the most EVIL of all the (human) Villains!
HADES (1997, Hercules) ~ With Hades, we see the return of Andreas Deja. Hades is Lord of the Dead, and lusts for more power! He tries to kill Hercules because Herc was prophesized to be Hades' downfall. With Hercules out of the way, Hades tries to take over Olympus. Hades uses Megara to help get rid of Hercules. His side kicks are demons, Pain and Panic. Voiced by James Woods
~ Special note on Hercules ~ Hercules had the most monsters
of any Disney animated movie. A partial list includes;
Hades, Pain, Panic, 5 Titans (Lava, Ice, Wind, Rock, and the
Cyclops), The Hydra, Minotaur, Medusa, Harpy, Giant Boar, and
Nessus (a centaur). On top of that Hercules has to deal with
Megara, under Hades' control!
~Shan-Yu (1998, Mulan) ~ Shan Yu is the leader of the Hun army. He is devoted warrior. He has a hunting falcon that spies for him. He is probably one of the villains with the shortest screen time, excluding Shere Khan!
