I could list countless reasons as to why she was an incredible
woman, but the only reason that really matters was her capacity
for love. She was the backbone of our family and more
importantly to me, she was a balance in a difficult life. She kept
me sane in my roughest times and most importantly she never
let me forget that I was loved.
I took her passing pretty hard and never really faced that. I went
through the same feelings that I think most do. Loss, anger....
emptiness. I never took the time to tell her what she meant to me.
So, I feel now that the mourning has ended...the healing can
begin. I will always miss you, Grandmamma, but I am glad that
you are happy and with Papa again. I know we will meet again
