Federal Census Records
Index Searches 
If you're not sure what county your ancestor was in, or don't want to sit for hours studying microfilm for an entire state hunting uncle Elmer, a census index search may be just what you need.  Some indexes are more detailed than others, but most all include the following information: Areas  and years for which index searches are currently available are marked with an "X" on the table below.

Census index searches are only $5.00 per each head of household name and include a photocopy of items relevant to your search criteria.
