Many offers of research services I've seen on the internet require a fairly large financial investment and are very vague in describing what you will receive for your hard earned cash.
My services are modeled a bit differently in that many of them are item and cost specific right up front, so you know what you can expect for your investment.
I have many years of experience, and have provided a lot of FREE research assistance to people on the internet as the immediate-past State coordinator of the FLGenWeb Project, current coordinator of the Hillsborough Co FLGenWeb Project, Henry Co ILGenWeb Project and independent research sites online for the Titus, Idle and Gideon surnames as well as sites for research in both Muscatine and Decatur Co, Iowa. I've written articles for the Journal of Online Genealogy and other publications and am a member of the Henry County (IL) Genealogical Society and maintain their website. I also work closely with the cemetery recording committee of the Greater Brandon (FL) Genealogical Society. I am also the Rootsweb mailing list owner for the Titus-Dutch research list and the Henry and Bureau County IL genealogy research mailing lists. With most of my ancestors being from the Midwest, I also know how hard it is to get information on your ancestors when you don't live in the area or can't access the records needed.
