I will be a senior English major at EIU come fall of 1998. What that means is that I write lots of papers (when Microsoft doesn't destroy two disks simultaneously on me) for a degree that will get me a job at McDonald's. I really like being an English major until some putz shows me a grammatical error I've written in an email or something. So don't do that. If you'd like to check out the EIU English website, go to: http://www.eiu.edu/~english
During my time at Eastern, I've involved myself with the marching, pep, and concert bands. To help support marching band in particular, I joined Tau Beta Sigma my freshman year, giving me many friends and lots of great things to do. TBS doesn't have a website yet, but I was volunteered by someone else to start one when I return from my studies abroad in Wales (thanks, Dustha). For more information about the Eastern Illinois Panther Marching Band and the organizations which promote it, carry on to: http://www.eiu.edu/~eiuband/pmb/contents.htm
I was in Girl Scouts from age 6 to 16. I earned many a badges (Badges??...we don't need no stinkin' badges!) and patches, and have some wonderful memories of camp. And some not-so-wonderful memories, including swimming lessons and outside latrines. Overall, Girl Scouts is one of the foremost reasons I am the way I am. Now we know who to sue. For more info. on a great group for girls, hike to: http://www.gsusa.org
