The Story everyone has waited for!

Before you read the story, let me tell you two things. #1, it's fiction, and you probably already know that, but I had to put that on anyways, so I won't get in trouble with anyone. #2, The story is unfinished, and we should update it super soon! Thanks Heaps for reading! {{{Hugs to you}}}

Nicole's POV

I had just finished yet another fight with my boyfriend and my best friend, Avery, was at my house comforting me while I silently cried in her shoulder.
"Why don't you just leave him?" she asked me.
I replied, "Because I love him." but I didn't know if that was true anymore.
"I have the perfect idea!" she said. I was already afraid to answer.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"Why don't we go on a little trip?!" she asked excitedly.
"Well, what about our parents?" I asked.
"I talked to my parents who talked to your parents who were told to keep it a secret." Avery said.
"Well that's cool, but where are we going to stay?" I asked.
"At my aunts." she replied.
"Oh,well where's your aunts?" I asked.
"She lives in Wasington DC." she said.
"Cool! So when do we leave?" I asked.
"Next Monday" she said, smiling. It was already Thursday.
"Oh my God! Why didn't you tell me?" I yelled.
"I wanted it to be a surprise." she said.
"Well we've got a lot of shopping to do then!" I replied happily.
Avery's Point of View

"Are you almost finished? My feet are killing me!" I whined. Nicole and I were in Express, and she couldn't decide what to get. I was the one holding the bags, and let's just say, they weren't light.
"Av! Chill! I'll only be a minute. Which one is better? The red skirt or the blue one?" she asked.
"I like 'em both, but if you must choose, I'd say red. Now let's go to the food court, I'm starving!" I was going to take desperate measures if she continued shopping.
"Okay, okay. We can get my skirt later." she sadly put it back on the rack.
"Awesome! Let's go eat!" I handed her half the bags, and we walked, no, I would say that I ran, to the food court.
We got all our stuff and sat at one of the booths. As soon as I sat, though, I started chowing down on my food.
"What are we gonna do in D.C.?" Nicole asked.
"Whatever we want to do!" I said with my mouth full of burger.
"I'm so excited!" she squealed, and I rolled my eyes.
"No, I though you'd be sad that we're going to Washington D.C. for two weeks! I mean....." I trailed off as a complete God walked in.
"What's wrong?" Nicole asked. "Are you gonna throw up? If you are, I'm getting out of here!"
"Look at him!" I said quietly as the guy snagged a table just two away from ours.
"Yeah? So?" she asked.
"Who is he?" I asked, my mouth gaping open.
"All I know is that he's a year older than us, and I think his name is...Ryan." she said.
Nicole's POV

"So,I'm guessing that you're interested in him."I gave her a smirk."He is sorta cute though."I added, scoping him out.
"Yeah,do you think he'd go for me?"Avery asked.
"I think. Unless,he's one of those kinda guys that don't go for girls that are younger than they are,but that's a stupid reason."
Avery nodded and said some garbled speech due to her full mouth.
"We have some serious shopping to do, so we should worry about Ryan later, or at least until we get back from D.C."I looked at her as she ate her food."Av, you eat like a hog. It's totally disgusting."she gave me a dirty look.
"Are you saying I'm fat?"she asked.
"No,"I answered quickly,"I meant that you're eating and eating without taking a breath."
"So?"she asked. "I'm hungry"
"Nevermind,we gotta get back to shopping, and we're going to start right back at those two awesome skirts I saw."I grinned as she winced.
"Can't we take a break?"she asked, grumbling.
"We did, remember? While you were stuffing your face and drooling over Ryan."I laughed. She smiled and kicked me under the table.
"Ouch!"I yelped, grabbing my shin."What did you do that for?"I asked.
"Hmmm..."she started,"I guess we're even now" it was then her turn to laugh.
I glared at her for a second then said,"Come on, let's get to the shopping!"

Avery's POV

I grumbled, I whined, I even stomped my feet, but Nicole still insisted we keep shopping until we were both broke. The highlight of my day? Our one and only break at lunch.
Ryan. The name could have been a symphony. It practically was, we said it so much within the next several hours at the mall.
As we walked into Pacific Sunwear, he was in there. Wearing a nametag. He was an employee. King of Kings! What luck! I nudged Nicole and pointed. She smiled and nodded.
I strolled around the store with Nicole, collecting quite an accumulation of things for the dressing room, while watching him wait on other coustomers.
When it was time to hit the dressing rooms, I had 6 swimsuits, 7 tops and 4 pairs of shorts. I ended up deciding on two Roxy swimsuits, and three outfits for the trip.
"Hi" I said to Ryan as I handed him my things to check out.
"Hey, didn't I just see you in the burger place?" Ah! He remembers me! I gave Nicole a confident grin.
"I think. Were you with your girlfriend?" I asked. Leave it to me to get the answers I needed, even though I knew he wasn't with a girl.
"Actually, I don't have one. Do you have a boyfriend?" he asked. My heart just about beat itself out of my chest. Nicole pretended to be interested in an Oakley display.
"Nope." I played with my watch.
"Well, how old are you?" he asked. I could just about lose myself in his blue eyes. I was officaially swooning.
"Fifteen." I could hardly see straight, so I grabbed onto the counter for support. 'Here it comes', I thought 'Here comes the date proposal.'
"My cousin is fifteen. Maybe you know him?" he handed me the bag with my purchases. "His name is Jonah Richardson."
"Oh yeah, we know each other." I smiled my attempted dazzling smile. "Well, I'd better be going! We're shopping for a vacation. Bye!" I gave a little wave as I grabbed Nicole's arm and pulled her out of the store.
"What's your name?" he called as I exited.
"Avery! Avery Peters!" and I swooned once again.* Note from Avery: My real last name is not Peters.*
