*These interviews are from magazine articles I just typed out!*
Q: DO YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?
A: Nick:"I'm seeing somebody."
A: AJ: "I just broke up with my girlfriend of five years, but I've been with my new girlfriend for almost nine months."
Q: WONT SOME OF YOUR FANS BE BUMMED TO KNOW YOU'VE GOT A GIRLFRIEND?
A: AJ: "When the group first started, we weren't supposed to have girlfriends, or if we did, we were supposed to say that we didn't. But now it's gotten to the point where the fans accept us for who we are and realize, "OK, these are five good-looking guys. They have to have normal lives. Unless they're all gay"-which we are not-"they have to have girlfriends."
Q: WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU LOST YOUR HAIR?
A: Kevin: "I'd probably go ahead and shave it. That'd be cool. I'd probably look pretty freaky with these big ol' eyebrows.
Q: IF YOUR MANAGER SAID, "WHATS WITH THE EYEBROWS? WE GOTTA CHANGE THEM," WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
A: Kevin: "I wouldn't let anybody touch my eyebrows because I don't want to look like a made-up girl or whatever. They're big ol' Groucho Marx brows. I think you just have to be happy with what God gives you.
Q: DO YOU LIKE PERFORMING OR DO YOU GET NERVOUS?
A: Howie: "I love performing. That's where I'm most comfortable. I'm usually a little bit nervous right before I go on or especially if I make a mistake at the beginning of the show.
Q: WHAT WAS THE MOST EMBARRESSING THING THAT OCCURRED ON A BACKSTREET BOY TOUR?
A: Howie:"Once I fell off stage..."
Nick: "Yeah, and how about that time I got caught up with Obie our percussionist...or how about the time AJ got his shirt caught in the cymbals and knocked the whole drum kit over during a show!"
AJ: "I was really embarressed!."
Q: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE FANS THAT GO "A LITTLE TOO FAR" WITH THEIR ANTICS?
A: AJ: "Some of these girls do crazy things. They even go up to our hotel rooms after we check out and grab our socks or boxers that we left behind. Then they'll whip out our underwear (at a concert) and ask us to autograph them! It's completely outrageous!"
Nick: "Personally, I like it when fans do crazy things."
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FEELING ABOUT TOURING?
A: Nick: "It can sometimes be very lonely while we are on-tour. I dont think people realize how difficult it can be. That's when I just sit by myself and listen to music with my headphones."
Brian: "All of our personal things usually get tossed on the bunks, there is really no other place for it. Even our clothes get stored underneath the bus."
Q: WHAT WOULD PERFECT ROMANTIC SCENE LOOK LIKE?
A: AJ: "I would like to sit in front of a log fire with hot chocolate, marshmellows and some mellow music playing. It would be great if the moon was shining inside, and it was cold outside."
Howie: "I love hugs and kisses. I think it's because I grew up in a large family. When I'm with a girl, I love her to give me hugs-it really touches my heart!"
Brian: "I'd have one of those huge movie projectors in a big snugly room with a huge soft couch and bean bags all over the floor. I'd make dinner for the lady of my choice, then we would cuddle up and watch a movie."
