One Halloween night, some teenagers from the local high-school got together for a spectacular Halloween party. A young lady, who wasn't very popular or in with the crowd was also invited and was very happy to go. She went as a gypsy, so she could be both cool and mysterious.

After the party started, some of the teenagers were bored with the usual dancing and drinking, and they were eager to find something else to do. They gathered around, and invited the girl in the gypsy costume to hang with them, more than delighted the shy girl went to talk with the group.

A very popular girl from the group offered the dare that no one would volunteer to go to the nearest cemetery and drive a stick into the grave. After a long silence, the young girl decided that this could be her ticket into the group and she could gain everyone's respect. The girl said that she would go and would return in a short while.

Well, the girl actually did go to the grave, and she picked up the nearest stick, very scared she walked up to a grave, she didn't want to do this, but she couldn't back out now. The girl closed her eyes and plunged the stick into the grave.

She couldn't see very well, and so it happened that in the dark she had accidentally driven the stick through her long skirt as well. When she had turned to run she came to realize that she could not move.

Horrified that death's hand had reached out from the grave to try and stop her after what she did, the girl collapsed and died.

When the group went to see what was taking her so long, they found her still pinned to the grave.
