of the European GT Panasonic ShockWave BMX team, won the first two rounds
of the European BMX series (total of 10) on the BMX track in Lempdes,

Speed Series on day one.
On Sunday the Elite men final looked even more impressive with Robert and
Florent controlling the race,
Finishing 1st and 2nd respectively. After the first weekend (out of five)
De Wilde already has a strong lead in the 1999 European Championship
Series with 74 points. Florent Boutte is in second with a score of 60
after the first two races.
