Taking the Secret to the Grave

You can stand on the sidelines
and say it won't work.

You can shout that we are causing
the opposite of what we want to happen.

You can describe our acts
as an anachronistic revolt.

But I did not listen then
and there's no chance I'll do now.
Maybe there is a way out
of this society I despise so much.
and I'm taking the secret to the grave.
