IWRG from Arena Naucalpan taped March 7th!!!!!!!!

*** Dr Cerebro, Star Boy and Judo Suwa vs Saito, Slayer and Micke Segura.- Saito sub for Dragon Kid, although the subtitles still had Dragon Kid there. This show, the official time for each fall/match were gone.

1.- Dr Cerebro and Micke trade some moves as they go toe to toe and get even from their trade off... Saito comes to work with Judo Suwa, and they do some matwork, more of the same with Slayer and Boy, good stuff, but the crowd want to see some action so Micke starts doing his minis-style armdrags and flying head scissors on Dr Cerebro as the pace picks up, Judo dominates Saito a while, and Dr Cerebro helps him, but Saito manages to escape from a corner splash by Cerebro and puts him into a double armbar like move, Micke enters and flips over Dr Cerebro to then deliver a Huracanrana on StarBoy!! Slayer makes Suwa submit to an abdominal stretch-armbars hold, while Saito suplexes+pin Dr Cerebro.

2.- Rudos ambush Saito, gaining control of the match as they take the good Japanese guy to 'la esquina del dolor' where the three rudos gang on him, then it's Micke turn to get the rudos triple teaming on him, they place him over the top rope, with Judo Suwa holding his legs while his belly was on the top rope, so Starboy decks him with a ttb legdrop which takes them both out of the ring, ouch. Slayer and Saito try to react, but Dr Cerebro and Judo are ready to avoid that, Judo even low blows his fellow Japanese 'friend'. The rudos keep brawling for some time, then Judo gets Saito into a jaguar driver-but-drops-him-into-his-face move, while Slayer is pinned after a splash mountain by Dr Cerebro.

3.- Rudos keep outnumbering the tecnicos, until Saito manages to drop-kick Judo and the tecnico brawling erupts, things cool down a little as Judo overpowers Segura and sends him out of the ring, but Slayer makes Suwa quit with a double armbar hold, Saito holds Dr Cerebro so that Slayer can deliver missile kicks, but Dr Cerebro dodges and puts Saito into a weird submission hold (Saito was upside down with his shoulder on Cerebro's knee and Dr Cerebro 'spreading' Saito's legs open) and Saito is out!! Slayer and Dr Cerebro go at it, and once again, Dr Cerebro pulls another submission move to take the match!!! (This one was like a side cristo invertido hold).

*** Mega (challenger w/Ultimo Vampiro) vs IWRG intercontinental champion, Shiima Nobunaga (w/Judo Suwa).-

1.- I guess the ByL commission ask for matwork in the title matches, as they start of with lots of matwork, Shiima starts doing his comedic selling as Mega began doing the tecnico-armdrags stage, Shiima ends out of the ring and Mega hits a tope suicida!! Mega takes Shiima to the ring and goes for a third rope springboard (he slips the first time) into an elbow drop, but Shiima rolls away. Nobunaga snaps mare Mega but then misses an inside the ring second rope quebrada, so Mega can do a (weak) powerbomb and get Shiima into the scorpion death lock to take the first fall...

2.- Mega throws Shiima with a hiptoss move which makes Shiima fell on his neck, so Nobunaga starts selling a 'neck injury', Mega falls for the trick as Nobunaga escapes from a cradle and starts dominating with some kicks, he delivers a couple of legdrops guillotines to get a 2 count, Shiima starts working on Mega's legs, then takes him to the ttb and delivers an over the head slam/powerbomb to get the pin.

3.- Shiima is still working on the tecnico's leg, with some splashes on it and a couple of holds, Nobunaga then misses a corner splash and ends on the floor, so Mega (barely) can deliver an over the cornerpost plancha!! They take about 3 minutes to return to the ring and Mega is now selling his leg as if a truck had parked over it, still, he manages to do a cool corkscrew plancha to get a 2 count, then gets another 2 counts with a cradle and a Huracanrana, Shiima reacts by rolling away from another plancha, and does a slow-mo 'casita' to get a near fall. Shiima misses another quebrada ( I think he've never connected on IWRG so far...) and Mega puts him into 'la de a caballo', but Shiima doesn't quit, Nobunaga takes control by going after Mega's right leg again and puts him into a four figure leglock, then a Texas coverleaf, then into a cristo, THEN into a cristo invertido, which made Shiima's shoulder be on the mat, so he let Mega go at the 1 count. Shiima misses a top rope springboard somersault senton, then reverses Mega's (missile kicks?) huracanrana or something into a powerbomb, to swiftly deliver a Love Machine Splash/Nuclear Plancha/Frog Splash and get the 3 count and the match!!!

*** Kato Kung Lee Sr vs Taru.- For Kato Kung Lee's 'Martial Arts' Title (?), the rules for the match were:
* Use protective padding.
* Martial Arts.
- Judo
- Karate do
- Box Thai
- Kung fu
- Tae Kwan do
* No fouls or hits to the throat allowed.
* Ways to win : Submission, Knock Out and Forfeit.

Only Fall---- Mmmh, they took Tae Kwan do stances... and then wrestled for a while!!! Maybe it was judo... I don't know, I've always had trouble calling the judo moves... actually, the match turned out to be like a semi-super libre match, with some kicks, headlocks, punches, little or no kung fu or karate... Kato juiced and managed to do an over the top side plancha, but mostly, it was kick and punch stuff, with some portions of the match focusing on the illegal 'attacks to the throat'. Taru won with a scissors to the head+armbar submission hold.

*** Kato jr vs Punch Power MASK VS MASK MATCH!!!!

1.- Before the match has started, Punch Power jumps on Kato, and starts beating him, but Kato soon reacts and powerbombs Power, they brawl for some time and leave the ring, Punch Power regains the control of the match after dropkicks, then a fireman carry into a slam, which sets Kato jr ready for a senton from the ttb as Punch Power takes the first fall!!

2.- Punch and Kato are in the ringside area, Punch Power is beating Kato jr, he takes him into a fireman carry and slams Kato's head to the cornerpost!! Later, Punch teases tombstones twice!! But he drops Kato's shoulder to the barrier... they made it back to the ring, Punch Power keeps on command, until another powerbomb from Kato, who then atomic chairs Punch, and takes him to the ttb to deliver a... well, a German suplex-like move, but Kato stays hanging from the top turnbuckle, so he can hit a guillotine leg drop and get the fall count even...

3.- Kato begins beating Punch Power out of the ring, mainly slaps and stomps, Punch reacts and starts dominating, he even delivers a chair shot on Kato jr, they made it to the ring, where Punch keeps on control and rips Kato's mask, who then juices, later, Punch gets a half crab on Kato jr, who reaches the ropes, Punch Power argues with the referee and Kato takes advantage of that to stage a brief comeback, ripping Punch Power's mask as well, and eventually leading to a tope suicida which almost failed, Power gets to the ring before the tecnico, and the dropkicks him off the apron, to connect an over the top somersault plancha, as usual, the rudo gets to the mat before but is sneaked into a 'cavernaria', for an instant, it looks as if the referee had called for the bell, but the match continues, Kato gets a 2 count (1) and then goes to the ttb (while the crowd said 'NOOOO') but Punch Power frankensteiners him, then, hits a ttb elbow drop, and a senton (wow, he was almost dead and then does 3 moves in less than 30 seconds?!?!) to get a near near fall (2), next, missile kick from the rudo for another 2 9/10ths count (3)! Punch Power goes for a bodyslam but Kato jr reverses into a small package to get a near fall (4), another weak pin attempt by Kato (5), next, a half powerbomb and a leg drop of doom but Kato can't get the match yet (6), Kato with a huracanrana (7) but Power reverses (8), 4 more (weak) pin attempts by Punch Power (9,10,11,12) and misses a ttb senton, so Kato jr can hit (the worst) 450º splash (I've ever seen), he landed with his legs on Power's legs and with his (Kato) face to the mat!! Anyway, Kato gets the match and Punch Power, after the obligatory refusing time, takes his mask and they announce him as Roberto Ramirez Garcia, age 25, from EdoMex.
