*** Pentagon, Jaque Mate and Abismo Negro vs Octagon, Hijo del Perro and Parka Jr.- Somehow, I feel that Parka jr and Perrito don't belong here, they are not quite at their level trying to help Octagon in his feuds... OK, they're better than Perro
and Mascara Sagrada...
1.- The rudos are over the tecnicos as the match starts, Jaque goes after Octagon, as expected, Abismo Negro attacks Parka jr and Pentagon does same with Perrito, they all should had attacked Octagon, but I guess they need to push the Jaque angle for now.
Mask ripping, bitting, stuff, Tirantes and his son get into some argument, the three rudos gang up on Perrito to put him away after a frog splash from Abismo, Jaque uses a four figure leglock to make Octagon quit.
2.- The brawling extended through the recess and into this fall, more punching and kicking, it was Perrito the one who ignited the reaction, and started beating Pentagon for a while, even using a steel chair, Parka jr got back on Abismo unlacing his mask, so Abismo could pull his 'lose the mask' spot. Abismo Negro ends on the floor to receive and over the top rope somersault plancha from Parka, for a brief moment, it looke as if Parka jr was going to hit the floor on his head only!! Perrito prevented Pentagon to join the diving craze, but then, Jaque entered to make it 2 on 1, but the strategy backfired when Jaque Mate ended fouling his partner! Anyway, during the confusion, Jaque DOES low blows Octagon and gets the pin to win on straight falls!!!
*** Cibernetico (/w Pentagon?) vs Latin Lover (/w Xochitl Hamada).- Title vs Mask match. The title which belongs to Latin Lover is... I don't havve a clue about that. Ciber isn't too happy to have Pentagon as second... and what is Xochitl doing there???
1.- The match opens with some matwork, more into the championship style, rather than a mask match. Eventually, Pentagon starts getting some action atacking Latin, but his efforts are not apreciated by Cibernetico. Latin Lover takes advantage from the
rudo's lack of concentration and hits a side plancha from the ttb and follows with a kick to the head and 'la casita', but an ultra slow count from Tirantes saved Ciber, same situation with a bridge, but another casita is too much for the leader of the
Vipers (classic).
2.- Pentagon gets a chair... who's the target, Latin or Ciber? Cibernetico ejoys a moment of control with some kicks and slaps, Latin hints a comeback reversing a whip, but the rudo dodges the corner splash, and then delivers his own twisted vision of the Michinoku Driver II (Ciberdriver?), Ciber slaps the tecnico into a corner... Pentagon interferes, Ciber uses a Northen Lights Suplex!!!! Megafast count for the fall! 3.- After a moments of nothing going on, Pentagon gets into the ring with a soft drink or something, Tirantes is the one who receives the liquid at the end, leaving the way open for Pentagon to give Cibernetico a chair shot! Then Latin is also attacked, but the tecnico ducks, hits Pentagon and covers Ciber for the 3 count!!! Ciber gets a little of his strenght back and chair shots Tirantes and throws the chair to Latin... Dusty finish all the way with the result reversed to preserve Ciber's mask for the future... Everyone gets into a brawl, Abismo goes on to help Pentagon, Psicosis comes out of the closet and made the brawl go to the classic Vipers side, at the end, they put a table on the access hall and Abismo receives a senton!!
This match wasn't that good, but had some surprises there, Pentagon came out from there with problems with everyone, stablishing his stable as the elite rudo force in AAA (and Mexico, Capos and Boricuas just don't cut it). Latin was the same guy as always
but at least, this time he didn't dance at all, on the other hand, Ciber surprised me with a couple of moves I hadn't seen or expected from him.
*** Abismo Negro and Electro Shock vs Psicosis and Cibernetico.- I think this was for the national tag team titles, but I'm not sure about that, well, this was billed as a Lucha del Extremo, so I guess it is for Ciber and Psicosis to earn the title
shot.
-- V Extreme go ahead early in the match. Abismo uses a chaint to punish Psicosis a while, then, Abismo and Electro tied Ciber to a cornerpost, Abismo goes to the locker rooms while Electro Shock beats Psicosis, Abismo starts chairshoting Psicosis all
over the place. VEx start using a lot of chairs and it seems that the Classic stable was doing nothing... Abismo and Electro use about a dozen of chairs on Psicosis (AAA), after a while, some security guys came out to (apparently) set Cibernetico free,
but the staff guys also get attacked, however, Ciber is free and gets some retribution with his own chairshots. Ciber and Psicosis brawl for some time, Psicosis unlaced Abismo's mask, Ciber tied Electro to the cornerpost, Psicosis delivvers a
frankensteiner but Abismo then sent Psicosis to the floor, Abismo Negro goes for a tope suicida, but Ciber blocks with a chair!! They team up on Abismo, and after a few minutes, Ciber takes his foe's mask, ending the match in DQ.
*** Xochitl Hamada and Miss Janeth vs Alda and Rossy Moreno vs La Venus and La Chola vs La Demoledora and La Fugitiva.- Tag team cage hair match. They annouced that masks were also on the line but...
-- Some of the Ladies were ready with chairs before the bell... soon, the brawling is on, La Demoledora is a fat woman that immediatly takes the No. One place to determine the loser, since it would be pretty hard for her to climb the cage, Xochitl goes
after Alda, La Venus and Miss Janeth fight it out. There are several escaping attempts, but no one is able to get out. Tirantes held Alda by the hair, so Tropicasas could chase him off, La Chola made it out first. Kicks, slaps, chairshots... Miss Janeth
goes to the ttb, but nails Xochitl with missile kicks, allowing Rossy to escape! Alda tries to climb up, but is stoped, Hamada goes out, but her hair is still on the line, with Janeth fighting La Venus. Mindless brawling... La Venus is going out... Miss
Janeth grabs her feet... but cann't bring her down, so La Venus goes out and she and Chola save the hair... the three remaining rudas gang up on Alda, Rossy had to go back, but she got some chairshots as her reward. The Moreno sisters start bleeding like
hell. Rossy rallied back, but the women out of the cage prevented her from scaping, amazingly, La Demoledora made it back, Janeth goes out almost at the same time, so Rossy and Alda are now 2 on 1 on Fujitiva! Alda made it to the top, but Xochitl
chairshoted her back into the ring, Rossy goes to the top, Fujitiva and Alda fight for a while, Alda could have escaped, but did a moonsault instead, they both trade some chairshots, Alda delivers a frankensteiner, and covers Fujitiva with about a dozen
chairs, goes to the ttb and hits a senton!! Alda goes out winning the match!!!
Fujitiva and Demoledora were the losers of this match, they are shaved bald. Fujitiva uses a mask, but she was shaved. Las Brujas brawled with Venus and Chola at the end. Not very good, but at least it had lots of blood and helped to made the fans to
remember that the Moreno Sisters are the only worthy tecnicas at AAA right now.
CMLL from Arena Coliseo and Arena Mexico.-
*** Fuerza Guerrera vs Emilio Charles.- Mano a mano from Arena Coliseo. Why they got here or where is this leading to is beyond me.
1.- Fuerza didn't go to the ring, instead, he waited for Emilio near the locker rooms entranced, and ambushed the tecnico on his way out. Fuerza brawling, I think that lasted for some time, since they cut forward to Emilio reacting with a quebradora con
giro, then starts slaping back and Fuerza, the referee wants Emilio to stop using the closed fist, to he pulls his hair, letting Fuerza take back the control of the fall. Fuerza uses his inverdet atomic chair witht he suposed foul to take the fall.
2.- More of the same, Emilio reacts, drops Fuerza to the mat, another quebradora con giro, Fuerza Guerrera leaves the ring, so Charles goes to the apron to perform 'la silla zacatecana'. Back to the ring, Emilio hits a half powerbomb, and then uses a submission ('la potosina') hold to take the fall.
3.- Emilio is ahead now, and rips Fuerza Guerrera's mask, Charles controls with some dropkicks and a half powerbomb for a 2 count, another 'foul' from Fuerza lets him take the control once again. He then tried to fly and do a plancha, but Fuerza was just too far from Emilio to hit target, so Emilio recovers, they go back and forth, trade some near falls, usual finish with Emilio using a small package to pin Fuerza.
*** Pierroth jr, Gran Markus jr and Ricky Santana vs Brazo de Plata and the Head Hunters.-
1.- Fat guy stuff, the rudos tried to counter that with some teamwork, but couldn't do it, Porky did a tope suicida on Markus, and then both Hunters smashed Pierroth, hitting a plancha and legdrop to get the pin. 2.- Super Porky Brazo de Plata does some
of his not-too-funny comedy spots, but the rudos rally back after Ricky starts the brawling by dodging a fat corner splash from one of the Hunters, the brawling is general, with one of the Head Hunters being traped between the middle and top ropes, I
guess someone submitted.
3.- More of that mindless brawling, later, things cool down a little, well, not really, the brawling continues, next, there is a camera shot at the crowd, the tecnicos are controlling then, Porky uses his sitdown splash for a 2 count on Pierroth, Pierroth tries a bodyslam, but Porky falls on him, Ricky and Markus made the save, but the Head Hunters attacke them, gutshoting them out of the ring so the guys from Dominicana can pull their vertical fat splashes from the apron! In the ring, Porky whips Pierroth to a corner, and hits a fatcornersplash, on his way back, Porky unwillingly gutshots the referee, Pierroth goes to the mat claiming there was a foul, and the referee bought that! The rudos won the match. The crowd was pretty hot, but I don't think this match was very good.
*** Dr Wagner jr, Shocker and Mr Mexico vs Negro Casas, Hijo del Santo and Mr Niebla.- Before the match starts, they aired a video with Shocker attacking Mr Niebla at the gym... Mr Mexico went out with IWRG's "Escuadron de la Muerte".
1.- They took forever to start the battle. Wagner goes after Negro, with some kicks and slaps, Negro reacts with a kick but then Wagner intercepts another kick and takes him down, bodyslams, Dr Wagner goes to the top but Negro gets him first on his
shoulders, so Santito can hit a doomsday device! Mr Niebla delivers an inside the ring quebrada on Wagner, Santito with Hurracarana to pin Shocker, while Mr Nibebla uses 'la neblina' to defeat Mr Mexico.
2.- Shocker goes after Negro, then the three rudos gang up on Santito, then Negro gets beated, the rudos even deliver Vatos-like three way dropkicks, Mr Mexico uses the scorpion death lock to defeat Mr Niebla, Negro was pinned by Shocker.
3.- Mr Mexico goes on slapping Mr Niebla all over the place, Santito got his mask unlaced, but then (some editing there), the tecnicos have balanced the match, and Wagner is also close to losing his hood, both teams go back and forth, at last, it is time for Shocker and Niebla to go at it, they exchange some slaps, a rana from Niebla for a 2 count, powerbomb from the rudo to another close fall, Northen Lights suplex from Niebla, but no pin yet, Negro and Mr Mexico got involved, Negro and Niebla end on the apron to deliver dives, leaving Santito and Wagner to resolve the match!! They fight it out, Santo goes to the ttb and nails Dr Wagner jr with a diving tope!! The rudos is set for la de a caballo to a big pop, but the Doctor blocks it and placed Santito on the ttb, so Wagner delivers a Wagnerdog!!!! (3/4 facelock bulldog) WagnerDriver, the referees call it a martinete and DQd Wagner!!!! What?!!! "&úú"%"ú$%!!!!!
Spoiled finish almost ruined a good match. Wagner has used his finisher in Mexico before, sometimes, the victim would sell a martinete job, but he had never been DQd from that, if anything, I would say that this time, his Driver
as not as hard looking as they usually do. Maybe they'll try to run and angle from here.
*** Villano III, Cien Caras and Universo 2000 vs Atlantis, Tinieblas jr and Rayo de Jalisco jr.-
1.- Atlantis goes after Villano before the bell (actually, they use a whistle), all of them start figthing with the rudos getting the best of it, soon, Villano is ripping Atlantis mask open. Universo-Rayo and Tinieblas-Cien Caras have ongoing feuds also,
Rayo gets one of those 'beat the Dinamitas' offense, so Carmelo goes on to foul him to end this fall.
2.- Slap trading from Atlantis and Villano, Atlantis comes on top with dropkicks and quebradora con giro, Villano ends on the floor, so the tecnico uses the tope suicida to knock him off! Nothing good from Tinieblas vs Cien Caras. Rayo hits some clotheslines on Universo and gets some near falls. Once again, its Villano vs Atlantis, Atlantis made Villano to connect dropkicks on Cien Caras, so Universo got mad at him, Villano went to the top but Universo pushed him off, leaving him open for Atlantis to put him into 'la cavernaria' and bring the match to its end in straight falls.
