AAA from Cuernavaca, Morelos (2 matches) and Tehuacan, Puebla:
*** Dollar, Peso and Dollarito vs Chuqui, Jose Ramona and Andre el Enano.-
-- Not too much to say about this match, the ending had Dollarcito going to the ttb to deliver a plancha on Jose Ramona on the floor, next came Peso with a tope suicida, in the ring, Dollar hit a plancha on both midgets and took the match.
*** Apache, Marabunta, Mr Condor and Angel Mortal vs the Spice Boys: Randy, Billy Boy, Vangelis and Raymond..
1.- The match opens with the rudos going over the tecnicos as soon as possible, they don't give the Spice boys time to get off their village people like clothes... mostly a brawling, with a move here and there (for instance, Apache did an inverted Michinoku DII), at the end, the rudos take the fall, they kept stomping on Randy, and I thought that the DQ was on its way, but the fall was awarded to the rudos.
2.- The brawl goes on, and it looks good for the rudos, but you know that the tecnicos have to made it back, and they did with Randy reversing a whip on Mr Condor, who got back body dropped out of the ring by Apache, the Spice guys brawl for some time, with the action cooling down somewhat. The tecnicos get into their offensive spots, hitting some armdrags and headscissors, they even tried some complicated stuff that came off so-so. The end had Randy and Raymond hitting over the top rope somersault planchas on 2 of the Diabolicos, and the other 2 Spice Boys getting hurracanranas to even the match.
3.- More armdrags from the tecnicos to keep controlling the rudos, Randy even does some Latin Lover dances... Somehow, Mr Condor and Angel Mortal ended fighting out of the ring, they got into the ring and traded some slaps, but at the end they made up, and went after the tecnicos, but Raymond sent one of the Diabolicos out of the ring and hit a tope suicida (which ended more like a plancha), Mr Condor did an over the top rope pescado plancha on the Spice Boy, but then came Vangelis with a vertical splash from the top... Marabunta went into the ring, but was attacked by Randy, who made him bellyslide out of the ring, setting him ready for a tope suicida! This made Billy and Apace be the guys deciding the outcome of the match, Billy Boy performed dropkicks to the knee, Apache faked a foul, Tirantes gave the rudos the match!!!
*** Kick Boxer and Jaque Mate vs Heavy Metal and Octagon.- Revancha Superlibre without referee, well, Tropicasas was down on the floor, only to make the counts and check for submissions...
1.- Rudo brawling, what else? Heavy Metal soon juices and it is all kick, punch, slap, kick stuff for a while, well, I could see some suplexes and bodyslams... Jaque pins Octagon after a ttb elbow drop smash, Kick Boxer defeats Heavy Metal by pin with a German suplex. 2.- More of the same... now, Octagon is also bleeding, it looks as if Heavy is going to react after he's placed on the top turnbuckle, and pushes Kick Boxer off, but the rudo rolls away to avoid the senton, later, Heavy is whipped to the ropes but conters with a flip to the ropes reverse tope, but Kick Boxer sidesteps... at last, it was Octagon who staged the comeback with some slaps, both tecnicos brawl back... the reaction ends with Heavy Metal missing a cornersplash, and the rudos taking the control back, soon, Jaque uses a four figure leglock to force Octagon to submit, Metal also quits to a chokehold.
*** Cage match: Los Vipers Pro vs Los Juniors Atomicos.- Non title match, but a preview for that... The only thing of note here is that besides Perrito, they're not using their regular outfts.
-- Not too many things to comment there, some of the luchadors got out, but then the Vipers returned with some chairs and beat the hell out of Demon and Perrito, Parka and Mascara reenter the cage but the 4 Vipers are too much for them to handle, the Vipers got out of the cage and took the match.
*** CMLL from Arena Mexico.-
*** Bestia Salvaje, Scorpio, Universo 2000 and Apolo Dantes vs Gigante Silva, Lizmark and Rayo de Jalisco jr.-
-- The rudos jump on their enemies to get some advantage early on the match, mostly Universo beating Rayo, while a couple of rudos went after Silva, sometimes they had to triple or even quadruple team him, but they could handle him better than on earlier matches, eventually, he got no selling anything and the tecnicos reacted. Lizmark and Rayo de Jalisco jr performed some of their usual tecnico secuences, then Lizmark nailed Apolo with a tope suicida, Rayo went after Scorpio and Bestia, decking them with double clotheslines, he sent Universo to the floor and went to the top, Silva did a plancha from the second turnbuckle on Besita and Scorpio to get the three count, while Rayo delivered a plancha on Universo.
*** Shocker and Villano III vs Mr Niebla and Atlantis.- Revancha Superlibre.
1.- Rudos controlled 98% of the fall, not unlike AAA's "superlibre", with the tecnicos soon juicing, but this had better workrate, there were some DDTs, bulldogs and suplexes. The tecnicos had one of those reactions to take the fall, with Mr Niebla hitting a tope suicida on Shocker, leaving Atlantis on the ring to perform a Romero special and make Villano quit.2.- The tecnicos went on punishing the rudos for a brief time into the second fall, the rudos reacted and continued beating the tecnicos for a while, they hanged Atlantis upside down from the ttb, and used Mr Niebla to hit him, but they also hit one of the referees and got DQd.
*** Blue Panther and Dr Wagner jr vs Hijo del Santo and Negro Casas.-
1.- Panther and Dr Wagner took the belts after the photo shot and teased a walk out with them...Actually they took a lot of time to get into the action, and then, it had not a very fluid flow. Wagner and Negro started off, then Santito went at it with Panther, and soon sent the rudo to the floor to deliver the mandatory tope suicida. Negro stays on the ring to deliver some kicks to the face on Wagner. Santito and Panther go back to the ring, Hijo del Santo goes for a somersault flip pin, but Blue Panther blocks with a sitdown splash, he holds Santito down so Wagner can run to the ropes to delier dropkicks to the head!! Two way dropkicks to the head are next! Wagner with a LygerBomb and Santito is pinned! Negro enters but is not trying that hard to make the save, so Panther gets him with some slaps. Blue Panther lifts Negro in a gorilla press, Wagner goes to the top to deliver a WagnerDog, and Blue Panther covers for the 3 count.
2.- Dr Wagner goes after Hijo del Santo, he is assited by Panther while the referees held Negro away. After beating Santo, they go after Negro, Wagner hits a back body drop, then Panther lifts him with a gorilla press and drops him on Wagner's knee! Wagner takes Negro Casas to the top turnbuckle to deliver a corner suplex, covers for the pin but the tecnico kicks out at 1, Negro crawls to his corner but the rudo prevents him from making the tag to Hijo del Santo. Panther enters to put Negro into a rolling Romero Special, he got too close to Santito, who hit the rudo to break the hold... Blue Panther with a clothesline on Santito, places him on the top and goes for the corner suplex, but Hijo del Santo blocks and slaps Panther off, Wagner goes for the suplex, but once again, Santito blocks it and throws the rudo off, Panther again, Negro goes there and lifts him on his shoulders for Hijo to deliver Doomsday Plancha!! Both tecnicos placed Wagner on the apron and then dropkicked him off to the floor, Santito missed dropkicks on Panther, who sent Santo out of the ring, Negro kicked Blue Panther for a while, but then Wagner used the Wagner Driver and got the 3 count!!! The rudos team up on Hijo del Santo for a while, until Panther places Santito on Wagner's shoulders and the tecnico delivers huracanrana for the 3 count, Panther thought that they had won, and then got pinned as well, not the first time I see this ending...
3.- Both rudos go over Santito again, Negro sells being knocked out from the Driver and is not allowed to make the tag, so Santito gets double teamed for a while, at last, Negro returns to deliver some kicks, both tecnicos deliver shoulderblocks on Blue Panther, who ends on the floor, Negro holds Wagner on to the mat for Hijo to deliver the diving tope but Wagner moves out of the way and Santito hits Negro!! Anyway, Santo goes on to do the near cornerpost tope to nail Blue Panther, Wagner does a splash mountain on Negro for a 2 count, Wagner lifts Negro, but the tecnico escapes, delivers a reverse DDT, then a brain buster and covers for the 3 count, Panther doesn't made it to the ring and was counted out. Hijo del Santo and Negro Casas keep the belts.
