WARNING:I don't know why, but instead of AAA and CMLL having 2 hours on air each, now the total time for both shows was one hour, I just hope this won't be permanent and next week each show will be back to 2 hours.

--AAA--

*Virtual, Milenium and 3D vs Rudy el Salvaje y Hombres Rata I and II.- Virtual, Milenium and 3D are two returning tecnicos, while the rudos are also new.

--- After a few moves, the six men are in the ring, tecnicos perform hiptoss, dropkicks, rudos go to the floor, so it's triple flying time..., but the area between the ring and the rail is too short, Virtual does a somersault, but falls bad and is out of the match, hope he was not seriously injured... the other two rudos go to the second rope to deliver topes on the rudos that had moved when Virtual made his move, but due to bad camera work, I could not see how those moves came off. Rudy holds 3D (I think) and the Ratas tried to put rats on his face, but the tecnico moves and Rudy is scared by the rats and pinned, somehow the rest of the rudos are also pinned. That was the only thing they showed, pretty bad, a total disaster. Maybe Gala might have the complete, or at least, a less edited card.

* Niņo de la Calle, Axxxel (nieto del Santo) and Oscar Sevilla vs Hombre Lobo, Jose Ramona and Apache.-Axxxel is Santo's grandson, but he is not playing that gimmick, in fact he is not masked.

---Niņo is slapping Lobo, who says 'pegame como hombre' but gets double dropkicked by Axxxel and Niņo out of the ring, next, Niņo does a tope but he hits the rope first and loses a lot of momentum, enter Jose Ramona, Axxxel whips him to the side... but Lobo and Niņo are still down, so he goes to Axxxel again and gets whiped again, now he does a tope on both Niņo and Lobo, Axxxel goes to the ttb (top turn buckle) and does a simple plancha on all luchadores on the floor, Sevilla and Apache are in the ring, Sevilla goes to the rudo's shoulders, rolls down as to perform an armdrag but changes it into a rana-pin, but he can not get even a one count... Apache gets frankensteinered next, but kicks out when pinned, Sevilla tries another frankensteiner but gets powerbomb dropped, and Apache takes the match with a fisherman suplex.

*Vipers vs Batos Locos-- Atomicos tag championship match.- At least now is clear that los Payasos are not the champs, before this match, they had a clip with the comissioneer of Box y Lucha from EdoMex saying that the Vipers were the champs.
1.- Picudo and Psicosis are in the ring trading armdrags, eventually, everyone enters the ring and brawl, with the Batos pinning the Vipers to take the first fall, Manson did a Octagon-Olimpico-nesque-looks-like-arm-drag-but-ends-being-a-samll-package which was sort of unusual to see on a rudo.

2.- Batos with the upper hand doing the quadruple dropkick on Histerya, Manson with a bbd (brincate-burro-drop) on Psicosis, Mosco enters but gets quadruple-slapped, then more Vipers get more of that, Maniaco and Psicosis manage to dodge clothslines and kick Nygma and Flowers out, Mosco and Histerya enter and dropkick Charlie and Picudo as well, but on the opposite side, so all the Vipers fly on topes or planchas, again, the camera work was horrible, Vipers get Manson inside the ring, he ends on Histerya's shoulders and gets clothslined by both Mosco and Psicosis from the ttb, Manson flips a full revolution and lands on his face... quite a good bump , he is easily pinned then.

3.- More mayhem in the ring, the Vipers have the Batos in headlocks, and attempt to do bulldogs, all of them crash in the center of the ring and the 8 men are facing up... Tirantes counts... 1... 2...everyone sits-up. Batos manage to kick Vipers out, Manson goes for his dead tope... camera changes to take a shot at the audience!!! $#!T!!!$#!T!!!$#!T!!!$#!T!!! Nygma has Mosco in crucifix powerbomb position, but spins and drops him instead, a 1 count, Mosco goes to Nygma's shoulders, but instead of a rana, gets backdroped, but kicks out again, Mosco to the shoulders one more time, Perrito comes out and low blows Nygma! Mosco makes a huracarana and gets the win while everyone else brawls... Tropicasas did not see the foul as he was looking what was going on outside.

This sucked because the 3 falls were edited and they didn't show the Manson tope, not even in replays, I mean, why would we want to see Perrito's foul if we got a look at it in the first time? Anyway, I guess AAA has been doing a good job at making that Atomico's belts as something that luchadores want...

*Cibernetico vs Sangre Chicana--Bull Terry (chained) match.

--- It nothing happens, they just brawl, Tirantes helps Ciber but gets puched by Ciber when Sangre ducks, Vipers get to the ring to beat Chicana... Tirantes DQed Ciber, Batos arrive, brawling... brawling... brawling.

*Heavy Metal, Perrito and Alebrije vs Kickboxer, Abismo Negro and Devastador-- Debut for Devastador
--- 5 Seconds into the match, Devastador kicks Alebrije in the groin, getting DQed, Niņo arrives with his bottle with water and soup, but gets mauled by Abismo and Devastador, brawling, brawling, Niņo bleeds, brawling, someone in suit cames out but the brawling goes on...Pepe and Tirantes fight, Niņo has to be stretched out, there is an ambulance in the street, they get Niņo there... but Steve Austin is inside!!! Well, not really, but the rudos get there and keep brawling, the tecnicos arrive, some more brawling...

I might have been a good brawling, but with 5 seconds of wrestling action, it is unexplainable, I mean, why they hate Niņo that much? What does Devstador cares about them? I guess AAA did a good job at establishing him as a rudo and gathering heat fast by beating Niņo, it seems to be AAA formula... 'No one cares about Espectros... lets have them beat Niņo down' 'How can we introduce Devastador and make him a hated dude? Beat Niņo'...

Well, to avoid this page being that short:
****NotiAAA****

- Sangre Chicana and Cibernetico fight for the Rey del Escandalo trophy, more or less a promo to the Zona de Guerra card held that day.

- Nygma says that he is better than Hijo del Perro.

- Payasos stole the belts again.

- Venus and Fujitiva, female luchadoras, challenge Brujas and Alda and friends, I guess Alda's team is going to be called 'las Enanas' (midgets) by rudas, or 'Las Princesitas', who knows... anyway, Venus and Fujitiva said they have a big surprise for them, I just hope that doesn't mean Martha Villalobos...

- Introducing Devastador... so what?

- Pepe Tropicasas -- Says he is not done with Tirantes, and that he doesn't need of Huicho to deal with Tirantes...

---- CMLL ---

***-Blue Panther, Fuerza Guerrera and Black Warrior vs Santo, Negro Casas and Mr Niebla.-This should be my rudo-hero team, Panther and Fuerza are two of the most influential rudos around, and Black Warrior is just great... this could be better if Wagner was around... the tecnicos are also some of the best around, is in matches like this when I don't understand CMLL booking, as they had too many Hunters, Dinamitas, Rayo and Boricuas and too few Santo, Panther, Warrior, etc.

1.- Fuerza and Negro start with some slaps, kicks and headlocks, Negro hits a DDT, but Fuerza kicks Negro to a corner to performa a bronco ride to Casas chest, later, Negro kicks Fuerza out of the ring and Panther enters, Santo helps his mate and they start double teaming on Panther and Fuerza, headsicsors and kicks, and the rudos go to the floor, Negro and Santo tease topes or planchas, Warrior and Niebla face off, Black hits dropkicks on Niebla, Niebla goes to the apron, Black Warrio slides to the floor, Mr Niebla goes to the ttb, Warrior meets him in the apron, tries to punch him but Niebla blocks with a foot... and headsicsors Warrior to the floor!!! Santo delivers rana on Blue Panther, but the rudo kicks out, Fuerza and Panther whip Santo onto Negro, Santo goes out, el Blue with a press slam on Negro, Fuerza misses a plancha from the corner, Panther had to oversell Negro's kicks, Negro puts Fuerza on a Romero's special, Panther tries to help but Santo gets him on a rana after using Fuerza as an springboard... a good fall, maybe missing a little matwork, and the ending was not as cool as Panther had to be there, standing doing nothing while Negro had Fuerza on the special... still, light years ahead of anything Dinamitas, Grundy and Hunters could dream off...

2.- Niebla and Panther trade moves, Niebla tries his Dragonesque reverse tope but Panther steps away, rudos in comand, rudos take turn punishing Niebla, brawling breaks out, Warrior puts Mr Niebla hanging upside down in a corner and does sliding dropkicks, he repeats the move, and Niebla tries to dodge by risign his upper body, but Warrior reacts and rises his feet to connect on his rival... more moderate (by AAA standars) brawling, and Santo submits to a hold by Blue Panther, I think it was an 8 figure leglock, but I'm not sure. Meanwhile, Warrior puts Niebla into a 'cristo invertido' which was useless as Santo was the captain, but looked cool nonetheless.

3.- Something was edited and Niebla does a huracanrana on Black Warrior, but the rudo kicks out, Black Warrior tackles the tecnico down but ends leaving the ring after 'estacas' (pushing opponent up with feet), Panther enters and clothsline Niebla out of the ring, Santo gets in... 'el maestro lagunero' gets armdraged out of the ring after kicking out of a couple of ranas by Santo, Fuerza faces Santo, and gets him into a powerbomb... wait! It was not a powerbomb, Fuerza backdrops and Santo's slams to the mat with his face! Fuerza puts Santo in 'la de a caballo' but Fuerza isn't trying too hard this time and Santo gets to the corner to tag Negro Casas in, Negro and Fuerza trade kicks, and Fuerza takes his miss-splash-on-the-corner-bump, somehow, Warrior had Negro pinned, but Casas kicks out, enter Mr Niebla, after a while gets kicked out of the ring and Warrior delivers a (Manson-like) deadly tope suicida!! Niebla ends in the second row... in the ring, Negro pins Panther with a rana and Fuerza Guerrera ends on Santo's shoulders, only to be face-slammed and put into a 'la de a caballo' hold.

After the last fall, Warrior gets interviewed. He said that he was not defeated--- true, he was never pinned--- and that he wants to be a star in CMLL. He might get a push now, let me do some fantasy booking about the lWo: I would have Atlantis, Rayo, Charles, Lizmark, etc. taking on the lWo, but at the end, the lWo beats the CMLL stars, so then, Black Warrior assembles a renegade team of youngsters with Mr Aguila, Zumbido, Olimpico, Toni Rivera, Ultimo Guerrero, Virus, Oriental, etc. and says to the older guys that they dropped the ball by not being able to deal with the lWo, so at the end, the young stars do the job. I mean, Rayo and Atlantis won't be there for ever and CMLL has to start thinking in the stars that should run the company in the year 2000.

As for this match itself, it was not as good as I could have hoped, it lacked the frenetic pace Negro and Santo have in their matches, this was maybe because the match lasted too long (and was edited) and that made them to be tired at the end. The coordination was not that great also, maybe because they have not been working together for a while now, anyway, it was far from bad.

****MOMENTOS ESTELARES (HIGHLIGHTS)****

--- Mini Rey Mysterio with some stuff that was really great, tijeras after spinning around opponent (twice).

--- Ultimo Dragoncito with an impressive somersault plancha.

--- Mr Aguila with a corckscrew inside the ring plancha to pin Ultimo Bucanero.

--- Tania and Lady Apache will have a hair match, so they showed some segments of a previous duel.

A promo for the Teleton.

*** CMLL tag tourney final: Scorpio jr and Bestia Salvaje vs Dr Wagner and Satanico.

1.- They build some heat to the match arguing and shoving...(cut to the last part of) Bestia and Satanico matwork, Wagner and Scorpio tag in and more matwork, Bestia enters and brawling errupts, with Scorpio and Bestia dominating it untill Satanico reacts (or Bestia and Scorpio realized they had to lose the fall) and does 'desnucadora' and a variation of 4 figure leglock (cruceta), and Scorpio gets Death Valley Drived and pinned by Wagner.

2.- Satanico and Wagner take turns to punish Scorpio with 'desnucadoras' and sentons, Bestia makes the save when his partner is pinned, Salvaje and Scorpio double team on Dr Wagner for a while (more than the 10 seconds allowed when tagging) but Wagner manages to clothsline both, and put Scorpio in DVD position, but Scorpio kicks out and performs a backdrop on the 'Galeno del Mal', so he and his friend keep double teaming on Wagner to make him submit to a crab... then Satanico is also defeated after more double teaming. I guess this shows how CMLL has made its titles worthless, Bestia and Scorpio were in the ring most of the time, something unusual on championship bouts before.

3.- Wagner and Satanico start working better and teaming up, and have the control of the match untill Wagner clothslines Satanico, who is then kicked out, and Bestia does his version of a tope suicida, not too great, but at least he tried, Dr Wagner has Scorpio in a crucifix pin, but gets the 2 count only, then, a corner suplex, but Scorpio kicks out, crucifix powebomb!! Kicks out at 2... Wagner goes to the ropes but gets tripped by Bestia, so Scorpio hits a powerbomb and then a choking slam!! 1,2,3 Wagner is out while Bestia had Satanico in a doublearmbar summision hold, Bestia and Scorpio tag champs!!---I'm really surprised (sarcasm). Well, now I think Santo and Negro will challenge them for the belts, they keep pushing back the posible Santo-Scorpio masks match, maybe they want us to forget about it... not hard to do if lWo shows up next week.

COMMENTS.-

I guess this shows what CMLL and AAA are about, CMLL cuts its first hour and delivers an hour of solid, if unispired wrestling, while AAA cuts off 85% of the in-ring action and gives us the feuds, riots and angles. The problem with AAA's hour is that it looked like WWF's 'Superstars': highlights, which are interesting to watch IF you saw the original footage, but have little meaning if you only look at them by themselves.
