*** Los Espantitos I and II and Mini- Medico Asesino (???) vs Fantastico, Pequeño Halcon and Halconcito (???).- Local minis match. One fall only. Very good match, the tecnicos were into some cool armdrags, they can't quite reach the spinning everywhere Rey Misterio jr-Tzuki armdrags, but they did a lot of the creative ways to connect an armdrag into another. The rudos were also skilled, but were more into the brawling stuff. Highspots included Halconcito doing a senton a la aguayina on one of the Espantitos, then Pequeño did a extra cool over the top rope somersault plancha on all rudos and Halconcito!!!! Fantastico hit a top turnbuckle moonsault on everyone to end the madness, they all made it back to the ring and Pequeño Halcon made one of the Espantitos submit to a 'tapatia paseada' (romero special rolling all over the place) while the other tecnicos used the starfish hold to score the fall. I don't think this would ever air on TV, but still was good.

*** Special one fall match.- Arlequin vs some tecnico.- This was part of the 'Novato Metropolitano' finals, I just saw them trading some basic holds before I had to leave to take a leak, I was told that Arlequin did a cool tornillo plancha... at the end, they exchanged some pin attempts, with Tirantes doing fast or slow counts, actually, the tecnico had Arlequin in a rana ready for the pin, Tirantes counted 1... then instead of counting, slapped the tecnico so the pin was reversed, a fast count made Arlequin win the match... more or less, Tropicasas and Hijo del Tirantes came out with an old guy who I presume was the comissioner to reverse the result (to a huge pop). I don't know if they want to use Hijo del Tirantes as bad referee or good guy, could go anywhere, btw, the crowd doesn't chant for 'Huicho' when they see Tirantes anymore.

*** Miss Janeth, Xochitl Hamada and Poli Star vs Alda Moreno, Cinthia Moreno and Yuki Miyazaki.- One fall match. I think Cinthia was good here, she seem's to be working hard into her spots considering she's been absent for some years... the match was OK a few tecnicas' spot in between the brawling, the Brujas did their team attacks, the highspots were not too mindblowing, the Moreno sisters did from the apron to the floor somersault planchas, while Yuki did a cool top rop springboard plancha. At the end, they all just started brawling out of the ring, Xochitl charged at Cinthia but the tecnica sent the ruda to the crowd!! They brawled there for a while, then, Sanguinario, Jerry and Hijo del Espectro came out to attack the tecnicas, Mascara Sagrada jr, The Panther and Parka jr came out as well, all 12 luchadors brawled for a long and wild time!!! Actually it was pretty cool, sometimes the guys would sell for the ladies so I guess this won't air on TV to keep their reputations intact...

*** Jerry Estrada, Hijo del Espectro and Sanguinario vs Mascara Sagrada jr, The Panther and Parka jr.- The program said Mascara Sagrada, but it was junior the one in the match. Maybe it's true that the old guy is injured. The first two falls were normal stuff, the first one went to the rudos after a lot of brawling, only Hijo del Espectro worried about making this look like a lucha match and did some suplexes and throws, the second fall saw the tecnicos making it back, Parka jr and Hijo del Tirantes even talked about the spot of having the referee helping Parka delivering a cool over the top somersault plancha!!!! Then, on the third, it was just a savage brawling, they beat the crap out of the Panther pretty badly, leaving him almost unmasked and bleeding quite a bit. The rudos went after Parka and Mascara, they unlaced their masks and then tied them up to each other and to the top rope!! More beat them up, then a little more, followed by some more... finally, Latin Lover comes with scissors, the tool, not the move... he set free the tecnicos and attacked the rudos, why the tecnicos were not DQd is beyond me, Hijo del Espectro took Parka jr's mask off ( I think it was Espectro) and the DQ came against the rudos, but the tecnicos were beated yet for some minutes more, at the end, Parka and Panther were left on the ring beated and unmasked... they did some interviews but the sound was not opened.

*** Latin Lover, Heavy Metal, Hijo del Perro Aguayo and Alebrije con Kuije vs Sangre Chicana, Cobarde jr, Texano and Mocho Cota.- There are two things I wanto to forget about this match: One, Latin Lover came out first to dance a stripper number. Two, Mocho Cota... what the heck!! He looks deplorable, he seems to be in very bad shape, everytime he was attacked, we all screamed 'you're gonna kill grampa!!!'. If he ever loses his hair, he would be called Mocho Ghandi. Somehow, those things are the only things I can remember from the match, well, besides that, I was impressed by Heavy Metal, he worked well and seems to be trying different and creative stuff, sometimes it didn't came off very good, but I think it was because of the poor quality of his opponents. The match went to 3 falls, there were some dives, Perrito nearly killed Mocho with a senton a la aguayina, Heavy did a cool over the top rope somersault plancha on Chicana or someone, Heavy nearly fell on his head on there... the tecnicos won the match after Texano or someone threw Kuije over the top rope to Alebrije on the floor.

***Octagon and Felino vs Jaque Mate and Kick Boxer.- Cage Match. Usual cage match stuff, lots of brawling, rudos beating tecnicos, Jaque, Felino and Octagon soon had their masks partially ripped and were bleeding. Octagon was the first to made it out, so the rudos went 2 on 1 on Felino, the crowd started chanting 'Felino', Kick Boxer told Jaque to leave, so Felino and Kick Boxer could go at it... Kick Boxer used a lot of crossarmbreakers on Felino, then used his 'black belt' to tie him to the bottom rope, by that time, I was pretty sure Pentagon was coming out to beat Felino... so out of the locker rooms came... MOCHO COTA!!! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! Well, then I was 100% positive Heavy Metal would make the save, and this time I wasn't wrong. He got into the cage and punished Kick Boxer, but while he was helping his brother, the rudo escaped the cage and took the match. More brawling followed.
