Lost in the Lake by Ryan Linebaugh

Frozen, only his body lay
frozen, still
besides himself in his own time
not ours.
He lived through Hell
he died in heaven
no one wanted him except the woman,
who died trying
now he'll die lying
remembering the blood he brought for her.
His body can't move but his mind acts out
the brutal murder of the woman beside him.
He tries to move but frozen he is
and the light in is heart is long from dim
its gone, no more
the heart that used to be has been ingested
by a man that he possessed with such finess.
If he could only move she would pay
...like all the others
i showed them, come to MY camp
MY lake, MY grave and Mom...
the only one who cared
was the only one who shared
the evil that was filler
for a mind thats gone away
the blood of a serial killer
who will not kill today.
