North Pacific Ocean, East Pacific from the Aleutian Islands through the Gulf of Alaska to Baja,
California, West Pacific from Japan to Kuril Island.

Dolphins, Risso’s Dolphins, Northern Right-Whale Dolphin and the Grey and Humpback Whales as well.
They eat squid, hake, and anchovies and are nocturnal feeders.
They have 21-28 small, pointed, slightly curved teeth.
