Maeple the Fier'Dal Druid here! This is the page for my field reports from the battle on Sullon Zek. Yes, that's right, the Diety War server. My crack team of reporters, the Puppydogg family, have gotten together to tell you tales of the war. We are of course members of the RABGNC, or Rebellion Against Bad Guys and Neutral Cowards (AKA Good Team). We are also members of the Flowers of Happiness sect on Sullon.
Flowers of Happiness is a guild that has its roots on the Pure PvP Server, Rallos Zek. It has quite a reputation on that server for killing everyone in cold blood. But they're just trying to spread happiness (in their sick twisted ways)! Now they have become famous on the Diety War server by joining the fight for Good. They especially changed the server through one brave soul's sacrifices and bravery, Fansy the Famous Bard.
Report by Maeple (8 Druid) for Aug. 8, 2001
Well, as always, there is bad news for us good guys. The newts have torn us up a number of times at the entrance to the Butcherblocks. And the evils as always own the main continent other than a few pockets of Newts and the capital of Good activity on Antonica, Halas. But our spirits remain strong. We still control the Faydarks, Everfrost (plus a claim to Blackburrow), and best of all, Crushbone, giving us a good experience zone.
This week, another day venturing into Crushbone. Unfortunately, evil Iksars decided they wanted to get rid of us by taking our best experience zone. After dying to the damned iguanas twice, the cavalry was called in to face them. A whole battalion of good, led by Level 20's, swept the whole of Crushbone for the vile lizardmen. Eventually I hear the lizardmen surrendered, but this is not confirmed. I left the fighting to the higher levels. That wraps up today's report. Keep fighting good guys!

Yet another week of misery for the Good Guys, but still not without hope. The biggest battle I have seen in a while took place only two days ago. I was in Crushbone soloing when reports of Newts were heard around the zone. About 10-15 Goods headed for the zone and prepared for a fight. Unfortunately, we were not counting on getting our asses kicked so quickly. All of a sudden, Newts came pouring into the zone.
I felt the wrath of the Neutral gods quickly as I received the message: 'You stagger as you are hit by frost spirits for 170 points of damage! You have been slain by Pumkin!' Holy shit! Pumkin? Wasn't she listed in the Top 20 for the Sullon Zek Scoreboard? I checked, and just as I thought, she was. Might not be next time I check the scoreboard though.
Needless to say, I ran back to Crushbone and found a huge retaliation force of Good built up. We all rushed in when everyone was buffed. I camoflaged myself and ran past the dazzling, thus laggy, battle. I dragged my corpse and looted in the river, seeing Newts (including Pumpkin) fleeing the wrath of Good. I gated out then, not wanting to die again.
I heard shouting in the Faydarks later that the Neutral presence in Crushbone was eliminated and that Pumpkin was on the run towards the Steamfonts, Neutral territory. I don't truthfully know that much after that.
Report by Maeple (12 Druid) for Sept. 29, 2001:
Sorry, been a while since my last field report. I haven't really felt up to playing or writing since the terrorist attacks on the US. I'll tell a tale from weeks before the attacks:
Now I have two sisters! Wolfie and Doggie! Wolfie is a level 18 half elf paladin. Doggie is a level 12 bard. We spend many days roaming the Faydarks, protecting them and playing with each other's hair. One day, there was a gnewtral Gnome that entered the forests of Tunare. A party of Good came and defeated him. Wolfie, Doggie, and I were charged with the keeping of his corpse.
The gnome appeared again on our chat screens, shouting insults at us. We obviously had to repay him. We danced around his corpse and took turns defiling it. After a while, the corpse began to run. By run, I mean it was being dragged by an invisible force. The damn gnome was invis'd and was dragging his corpse! We gave chase. Unfortunately, we lost the corpse in the end... but we had a fun time shouting insults across the zone!
Report by Maeple (13 Druid) for November 14, 2001:
This story, I went on a crusade. It was with a High Elf Paladin named Ran Naturetouch. My sister Wolfie, now with her last name of Puppydogg, gave me a tell from the Everfrost Peaks about a crusade beginning. It was on its way to the Faydarks so that the leader, Ran, could meet his brother at Felwithe to give him a message. I gathered an army to join with them when they reached the Docks of Faydwer in the Butcherblocks.
After a long wait, Ran and his army showed up, though Wolfie was not with them. She had become a casualty of a fight in the Commonlands. My ragtag army could not compare to Ran's though. There were many powerful warriors with him. We made our way towards the Greater Faydark.
We reached the zone into Greater Faydark. We buffed up to defend against possible threats on the other side. We charged in...
The ensuing battle was chaotic. Many evils had heard of the event and tried at all costs to stop it. I became a casualty of the battle when Iksar surrounded me and took me down.
Later on, I heard that people who ran to Felwithe and didn't fight received sometimes up to 2000 platinum for their services to Ran. This pissed Wolfie and me off. Oh well. The irony of life gets us again. I'll write again soon!
Report by Eaglie (7 Ranger) for January 4, 2002:
Well, the torch seems to have been passed. Maeple doesn't seem too interested in writing any more. It is up to me, Eaglie, defender of the Faydarks, fighter for the Fier'Dal. Maep just reached 20, receiving her last name of Puppydogg. Doggie, with some help, is at 15 (though the real player of her has been out of commission for a few months. Wolfie is almost 28 and who knows what the hell lvl her cousin Tyen the Bard is.
The Flowers chapter of Sullon has had a number of changes in leadership. Right now I believe it is Lovey, a high-lvl bard. There has been changes in the server, as more and more people have left it. The sides are much more evenly matched, though evils and newts still hold a large majority. The Flowers are ever growing too. We've added many since Shadows of Luclin came out. Fansy even reappeared in the form of a Vah Shir Bard. Speaking of Fansy, our tale for today:
I had just donged to lvl 6 so I was ready for a fight with evils (or newts, whatever comes my way). I was also happy watching the many Happy Flowers romping around the zone. I even saw the newest incarnation of Fansy the Famous Bard! He invited me to the Flowers to join my sisters, Maeple, Wolfie, Doggie! I unfortunately was soooooo Happy that I ran onto orc hill with an evil bard in his 40s named Bartlar. After being killed a few times by him, I was mad... a Flowers of Anger mind you. I tried firing a few of Tunare's blessed arrows at him, they didn't work either... Last time I put my faith in her!
It was Fansy to the rescue though. He began his old training ways by training entire camps of orcs on Bartlar. Those didn't seem to work though. Hmmmmmm... Instead, maybe try the guards... It worked! Bartlar was forced to flee after being brought too close to the guards. Yay for Fansy and Kelethin's finest, Guard Fayfear and Pineshade! Later, when Bartlar came back, the leader of Bringers of Retribution, Nevron Justicebringer (who owns the fiery sword Soulfire), defeated Bart in single combat. That's all for this edition.
Report by Maeple Puppydogg (25 Druid) for 2/11/02
Well, I've decided I wanted to write this edition of my reports, seeing as how Eaglie is stuck in one of the most boring places in the world... Everfrost Peaks! The only more boring places are Oggok and Grobb... absolutely nothing there other than the bank and a few NPC guildleaders. So, our tale:
A nice place for the nice goods to hunt is the Stonebrunt Mountains... being a poacher can get you some large amounts of cash. Well... a lvl 29 Newt Halfling Druid appeared, named Calcium Chloride, at the entrance. He had decided to waste his time attacking people lower than him... people like me.
