Garrett S. has been DJing since high school in 1992. He began in Los Angeles with best friend and partner Tim Schooley. After graduating in '94, he moved to San Diego and began playing clubs and raves. In 1996, he started the "Splendor Line" which was an information line for underground parties and events in Southern California. That ran for about 2 years until Garrett joined the U.S. Air Force in 1998. He now lives outside Seoul, South Korea but will be moving back to California in October 2001. During his career he has produced over 2 dozen mixtapes from Deep House to Hard Trance. He currently plays Progressive House and various styles of Trance. His main influences in DJing are Sasha, Paul van Dyk, and Taylor. He has had the pleasure of performing alongside Frankie Bones, Taylor, Christopher Lawrence, Sandra Collins, Steve Loria, Keoki, DJ Dan, Mark E. Quark, David Alvarado, and San Diego's finest; Jon Bishop, Daeman, Jon E. Thin, Paolo, Merlyn, Rudy Malinao, and Mike Orozco. In 1995 he hosted a weekly club called "Progression" and in 1996, along with Amato Records, threw "Soul Quest" which featured Christopher Lawrence's first San Diego appearance. Garrett has also played in Saudi Arabia and spun on New Year's Eve 2000. The Summer of 2000 he released his first mix CD titled "the Lancer" and which showcased his main DJing style.
