FOTOZ Color Lab has been in business since 1980... It started out of necessity in 1971 as Augustine's FOTOZ. I was unemployed and decided that I would take charge of my destiny and guide my own future ... that was 33 years ago!!!
At FOTOZ Color Lab it has been our quest to stay ahead of the industry.
When I started my lab in 1980, there were about 1200 photofinishing labs like ours.
Today, there are probably 30,000 labs ... When we first started, it was amazing for
people to get their photos the same day. Now if they're not ready in about an
hour, customers may be upset ... ah, how times change ...
1-HOUR FOTOZ was started in 1988 in Mt. Vernon
in the Times Square Mall. Most recently, we upgraded our store to do the new APS
(Advanced Photo System) film. In November of 1998, we opened our NEW store at 2225
