H2K

Updated 10/16/99

Below is a segment of "facts" about the new upcoming
Halloween movie "Halloween H2K: Evil Never Dies" A fact that
is not mentioned below is that Nick Castle, the origional shape,
is also slated to return to reprise his role.

But before that segment, I would like to give some of my thoughts
on what would make a good sequel to H2O. I say this because
H2O sucked and the series needs a come back. Saying that out
front, and then reading what is said in the segment below about
the plot of H2K, I have doubts about the series. That is because
what reads below is just flat out lame.

I feel the sequel should pick up right were H2O left off, just
like one and two did, and here is my point. Laurie Strode is
off to kill Michael in the ambulance, and supposidly chops off
his head. That wasn't Micheal. So where is Micheal, well you
must remember that Micheal wasn't really after Laurie, he was
after her son. So since it wasn't Micheal's head to be cut off,
he is free to be chasing after the son. Also if they are going
to continue the series beyond this movie, they are not going to
have the availability of Jamie Lee Curtis coming back, so sorry
to say, I feel she needs the axe. Possibly while saving her son,
and I think that should happen somewhat early in the movie
so the movie can be more about the horror than her fighting
Micheal. Also it would be like a Scream shock treatment to
have her die, let alone die so early.

I like the idea of bringing Dr. Loomis's son into the series, but I
am skeptical about how it could come off as more of a campy, lame
feel to it. In final thought, anything has to be better that H2O,
scratch that, at least H2O was better than Season of the Witch, right?

Upcoming Horror Movies. "John Carpenter will some what be involved in H2K with good reason. The reason is that he is angry that 'Freddy' and 'Jason' are coming back and it's not hard to figure they copied his idea especially Jason. Freddy Vs. Jason pissed him off. He was even more angry to hear about Jason X, so he is trying to help H2K succeed. H2K will be shot in Salt Lake City, Utah where some others were shot and the story line, like previously reported, will go back to Haddonfield. Also Michael was not the person who got his head chopped off in H20 so he will indeed be in H2K. Dr. Loomis's son Xavier will be in this one where he will take the place of his father. Due to the unexpected competition of 'Jason X' and 'Freddy Vs. Jason' the plot of the movie may slightly be changed. Because of this competition H2K will probably not be the last in the series. Good news though, Jaimie Lee Curtis is expected to return to reprise her roll as Laurie Strode. Also Laurie's son from H20 will be in this one. There will possibly be clips of the previous sequels in this movie and the old Myer's house will be shown a couple times. Since H20 ignored what was going on in parts 4, 5, and 6 H2K will try to explain it. In one part of the movie Laurie Strode will consider commiting suicide, but the question is will her son stop her in time? The movie will be directed by Paul Freeman, Executive Produced by Moustapha Akkad and be written by Debra Hill with a expected release date of Fall, 2000. About the H2K title it's what you get when you cross Y2K and H2O. The full title will be Halloween H2K: Evil Never Dies."
