As I Sit And Dream

As I sit and dream,
waiting, wondering,
when you'll be mine.

I see you sitting there,
wanting to reach out to you,
wanting, wondering , but
I do not dare.

I suddenly reach for you,
but your to far.
I streach my heart to you,
but you're out of my grasp,
Help me, Help me, I pray
When one day you'll be mine.

And I can touch you, hold you
and be with you.
Then I wake up suddenly, and
find my love he's gone
I realize I'm alone.
As I sit and dream.



Another Time

We met at a place,
We met at a time,
When your heart would never be mine.

I wished for days in vain,
But somehow couldn't hide the pain,
To hold you, to touch you, to feel you,
But still your heart belong to another.

As time goes on and the world spins by
I will wait and wonder why

Why couldn't it have been in another place, another time,
Then I know without a doubt,
Your love would have been mine.
