Eventually, he made his debut on the screen by lending his talents to the voice of young Simba in The Lion King. He then went on to star in such films as Man of the House, Tom & Huck, and The Adventures of Pinocchio. In 1997, Jonathon teamed with Devon Sawa and Scott Bairstow to play Marshall Stouffer in Wild America.
Jonathon is, despite his fame, much like any other kid. He's currently in his sophomore year at a private high school and is enrolled in the advanced program for gifted students. He hopes to someday attend college and study film, and hopes to become a great director/producer one day. Among his other interests, he enjoys collecting sports cards, memoribilia, and stamps. He also loves playing sports, especially his new favorite, snowboarding. However, his favorite activity is fishing, though he doesn't actually kill the fish. He throws them back after measuring them and possibly taking a picture. Canada, Alaska, Florida, Hawaii, and Costa Rica are a few of his fave fishing spots. He also has a new girlfriend and car. He enjoys cruising in it, a brand-new black landcruiser.
Jonathon currently lives in Southern California with his mother and his 20 year old brother, Joel. They also share their home with a Lhasa Apso named Mac, a Persian cat named Sami, and Sami's son Simba.
