In 2007, Andrew Grossman won the Hollingsworth Prize for the poem, "What Do We Extinguish of Ourselves," which is collected in the forthcoming book, 100 Poems of the Iraqi Wars. He has also been nominated for the Pushcart Prize for his poem, "The Efficient Nurses of Florida." His work has been widely published and anthologized. He resides with his wife, Nancy Terrell, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
