Paul Willis is a professor of English at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, where he lives with his wife and two children. He is the author of a pair of novels, No Clock in the Forest and The Stolen River (Avon, 1993), and a chapbook of poems, Poison Oak (Mille Grazie Press, 1999). His work has appeared in Poetry, Wilderness, Best American Poetry 1996, and Best Spiritual Writing 1999.
