Wendy Bishop teaches writing at Florida State University. Her most recent books include Teaching Lives: Essays and Stories and Released Into Language(2nd ed.); nonfiction will be appearing in When We Say We're Home, a quartet of essayists on place, and her poems and essays appear regularly in literary and composition journals. She lives in Tallahassee with her children, dog, cat, truck, and palm trees.
