Hi, it's Celina again. This is MissMouse's St. Patrick's Day page. She has a lot of Irish heritage, so come see waht's here!



This is the St. Patrick's Day Fairy, Melody! She lives in The Orphanage , but she is staying here while you look at this page!





Here are some facts about St. Patrick:
*St. Patrick is Ireland's saint.
*He is also one of the most well known saints in the Catholic religion!
*Some people beleive that he was buried in Downpatrick's Graveyard, but there is no proof.
*St. Patrick's dad was a Roman official.
*St. Patrick was born in Britain at the turn of the 5th century.
*The mountain Croagh Patrick is in his memory. It was suppposedly here that the saint rang his bell and the snakes of Ireland fled. The mountain is still surrounded by mystery and is still visited by pilgrims.
*He was captured by the Irish at the age of 16 and spent many years in Ireland as a shepherd.
*He eventually escaped to France.
*He returned to Ireland in about 432AD and spent 30 years preaching and making churches.
